Worst customer service ever. I completed my punch card after purchasing 10 drinks on Wednesday. I mistakenly thought the 10th drink could be free, so I told the worker that I want to redeem it. After realizing my mistake, I paid for the drink, but instead of giving me my fully punched card, she handed me a fresh one by mistake. I didnât notice at the time, but when I went back on Sunday to explain the situation, things took a turn for the worse.
The Sunday worker failed to understand what happened and repeated wanted to offer me a new card as if that would solve anything. He then had the nerve to repeatedly tell meâno less than five timesâthat I must have already gotten the free drink. He kept insisting this, completely ignoring everything I said, and his arrogance was unbelievable. He acted as if I were stupid or lying, which really pissed me off. His dismissive attitude and lack of basic respect were infuriating. It wasnât until I practically had to beg that he finally gave me the free drink I had earned. The whole experience was degrading.
Honestly, if my friend hadnât been there, I wouldâve walked out immediately. I used to be such a loyal customerâI started coming in when they first opened, and I even chatted with the owner, who was much more pleasant. Itâs shocking to see how far the place has fallen. Iâm done with this shop, and despite the tea being good, Iâll never go back, nor will I recommend it to anyone. The customer service is absolutely...
Read moreI have gone to this place about 4 different times but my fourth time is definitely the last. I came here with some classmates after an exam wanting to try a new drink. The ones I have tried in the past were good so I decided to pick a new one. I wasnât a fan of the honey one but didnât say anything because it was not a big deal. Was still planning on coming back to get the strawberry matcha which I liked the best for the next visit. I am not sure if this woman was the owner or just a worker but she offered to fix it which I denied because a classmate of mine liked it so I was going to give it to him. Keep in mind I never said âhey i donât like this drinkâ I am assuming the person just saw me give it to my friend. When asked if I liked it i just said it wasnât my thing. I guess this made the woman mad. She continued to insist to fix it getting more and more aggressive. It felt like 20mins had passed of her pressing on about it making me as well as my classmates very uncomfortable. I felt trapped in a corner. Due to this experience I will not be back and unfortunately my classmates said they wonât either. This place is really cute but please if someone says no they are okay donât corner them for almost 20mins itâs...
Read moreI tried red bean paste for the first time in years and was not disappointed! Taro goes well with it and a little ice.
Next time I'll try the Vietnamese Coffee!
The best part was the Korean students being so excited about the matcha waffles which they thoroughly enjoyed. Brings me back to the Korean church that introduced me to boba in 2010! Boba 4 lyfe!
Food/Drink quality for price: great! Atmosphere: bubbly! Pun definitely intended. The bookshelves make you feel like you're in a modern flat that has an analog record player and a few cats. Noise level: not bad, but not a good place to break up with someone (My benchmark for how well conversations are hidden. I overheard a brutal and awkward one once and felt bad for them) Lighting: Staff: friendly and not rushed but work fast! They look like they are chill and lovin life with boba on the side Cleanliness: very clean Indoor Seating: super cozy tables to chat with your best friends at Outdoor Seating: none :( Outlets: lots of outlets at the comfy benches WiFi: it's there but not sure if the password is public Typical music heard: indie pop? A good mix! Car parking: not hard to find parking Bike parking: blue bike racks! Pedestrian accessibility:...
