My husband and I were in the area after dinner and decided to try an escape room on a whim. We saw a 7:30 PM room was available, so I called twice beforehand to confirm if we could still book it or if anyone else had. No one answered either time.

We decided to just head over and arrived around 7:25 PM. The building was completely empty—no sign of staff. I rang the bell once, waited, then rang again. Still nothing. Around 7:35 PM, an employee finally appeared and apologized, saying he was resetting a room.

We asked about the 7:30 room, and he told us we couldn't book it because it was now past the time. We explained we had arrived before 7:30 and that we had tried calling to make sure it would be doable, but he didn’t seem to care. His attitude came across as indifferent and unprofessional. He offered us the 8:05 room, but by then we were no longer interested based on how we were treated.

We've been doing escape games as a family for birthday celebrations and holidays for a few years now. My family was visiting Nashville, so we hit up Trapped (Group of 6). Easy to find, you can see the sign from 65. We did the new Haunted Cabin room. We spent the first 5 min or so admiring how wonderful it was designed, and the ambiance was incredible. When we asked for clues, the ones we were given were vague enough it wasn't pandering, just enough info we could be redirected and still feel proud we figured it out. This room was a 3/5 difficulty, which was perfect for us. Some of our group gets stressed with puzzles or feel inadequate, this had enough to do, that everyone could be involved in some way. As an avid escape room enthusiast with 20+ games under my belt I have been looking to try other companies with games I have yet to try. The room itself was good however the availability and demeanor of the staff was highly lacking. We yelled for a clue from the game master that introduced the room to us multiple times and never got a response from the staff on the other end. 15 minutes later we asked again for a clue and a different staff gave us 2 different clues for puzzles that we had already solved. After we escaped, the staff walked us to the front, took our picture and left us standing in the lobby. It was by far the worst escape game experience to date. Will not be returning.
