The worst customer service I ever had was at this motel. I booked direct and had stayed at this brand many times with no problems. The hotel was very dated, poorly maintained, and dirty. It was also under construction, and all the amenities were not being offered. The parking lot was a mess, filled with construction implements, debris, and garbage. The parking lot was poorly lit, and people were smoking in the rooms down the way, which could be sucked into the air conditioner of the room. There was garbage left over from a preveous guest in the room. The tv did not work. My black light revealed numerous stains all over the room. But It was late at night when we checked in, and i just wanted to rest. I woke up the next day, and something had bit me in the middle of the night. ||I called the next morning to get a late check out, a perk of the loyalty program status I had with the brand. Before she could look up my status, or even before I could complete the question, she said no. I mentioned my wyndham platnum status has that as a perk, and she said no, sorry, we have guests waiting to check in. The property was virtually a ghost town, hardly any cars or people, so I knew this was a lie. Whatever, I just want to get ready and leave this place. I was in the shower, and my wife had just gotten out of the shower. I hear her screaming, and i go out to see what happened. She said somebody entered the room. I peeked my head out of the door, and there was nobody there. She said the person didn't knock and was wearing plain street clothes. I called to the front desk, who laughed and said it was probably housekeeping. I told them this was unacceptable, and she said she would call to see if it was housekeeping. She called back and said it was the housekeeper and that she forgot to knock and thought we checked out. It was around 8 am, and checkout was 11am at this property. I said this is completely unacceptable, and I expected to be compensated somehow. She said she can now grant our request for a late checkout. I declined that since we already were prepared to be out by 11 and said I expected a discounted rate or points. She said she would need to speak to the manager. She called back and said he would adjust the rate and would call me on Monday. This was on a sunday. That is the short version of the argument between me and my wife and the front desk clerk arguing the whole time. She even lied at several points of the conversation. Upon checking out at the front desk, she was laughing about it. I called her on one of the lies that she could have granted the late checkout request before since she could grant it after this happened, and she kept arguing and saying that I was incorrect. Im still awaiting the managers phone call, but im not holding my breath. A very bad customer service experience all the way around from the company to the employees. I will never stay with this company again. This is probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. This experience was so bad in never studying at a wyndham property again. I'll just pay more and stay at hilton marriott or ihg properties to avoid this...

Upon arrival, the lobby and front desk were very clean and appealing. There was a couple in front of us celebrating their anniversary but arguing about a room they had reserved 2 weeks ago with a king bed that they gave to someone else and only had double bed rooms available. They did not seem to want to remedy the situation for them or give a refund.

We got a double bed room since that's all that was available, which was fine with us, more room to spread out lol. Our room was on the very back of the building in a less lit area, kinda creepy but whatever. We parked and headed to our room. Right away the overwhelming smell of pot hit us and there was a man standing by a truck talking to someone inside it. I joked and said a drug deal was going down. There was also a dog barking from in one of the rooms I believe. Upon entering the room, it had a clean smell but was outdated. The bedding looked and smelled fresh. As always I checked for bed bugs and did not see any, however the stains I saw on the mattress were grossening. I went to plug my phone charger in and behind the nightstand and beds seemed as if it had never been cleaned or vacuumed. The tv had an unusual contraption attached to the top and plugged in, camera ?? Idk, but we covered it with a shirt. The sink/vanity area was very clean but the sick drained VERY slowly, no biggy. The toilet sits rather low and I did not judge properly and almost fell off when I went to sit, lol, but it was clean. The tub/shower was very clean and looked like it had a new shower curtain, however the dial label was broken and just hanging there and it took me a few minutes but to finally get hot water I had to turn the dial 360° almost twice. I loved the force of the water but the shower head was not adjustable and was at face level and the whole tub felt sloped and was slippery even tho it was very clean. The towels and wash cloths were all very clean as well. Side note... while in the shower, 2 loud pops sounded off which made me jump. We didn't know if it were gun shots or fireworks, but it was only 2 and all was quiet afterwards. The beds were very comfortable for me, seemed on the firmer side from what I'm used to but I liked it. There were 3 pillows on each bed, 1 was a lumpy feather type, 1 was a squishy soft type and my favorite was more of a memory foam type. I loved that I had an option. The AC worked very well all night. When leaving the next morning, 2 or 3 doors down there was blood all over the walk way leading up to the one room, there was also bloody dog prints as if the dog walked thru it ??? Would we sleep there again, possibly... I was so comfy in bed, I didn't want to get up. Unfortunately we have been in worse and paid almost $400/ night at 2 different places we would never...

I have been in this hotel in the same room for 32 days. Upon check in my room rate for the first 3 nights ( including wknd.) after that my rate fluctuates greatly from day to day. I informed them that I would be staying for a month or better. I have had to ask for housekeeping several times and did not receive it. My room has been cleaned twice since I've been here. Also, upon looking over my bank statements they have (verified) overcharged my account almost $450 dollars. And when brought to the attention of staff I was informed that they are not able to do anything, I must speak with the manager who has since been in and out of the hotel without speaking with me knowing I needed to see him. After discussing this with the staff my room amazingly jumped to $140...... I have requested that my $560 in taxes be refunded due to me staying here for over 30 days and now being a legal tenant and am tax exempt. I have since still been charged outrageous tax fees and was told I just have to wait on the manager to come in on Monday, this started on Thursday... And refuses to call either one of them. I also have 3, I'm assuming deposit , $50-$55 charges on my acct without ever being charged a deposit from the beginning. Due to my acct being charged whenever/whatever they feel and whatever card I am unable to pay for my room for the weekend. I waa told this morning that they have other things to do and they have no idea what can be done..... I, at this point, am almost ready to make them have to legally evict me and refund my entire stay of $3400 almost. This has been a very stressful 30 days and has caused me a few hospital trips due to my BP because of lack of concern or accountability. But I still have to keep coming up with money to pay. I was told there is NO corporate number that I can only speak to Danny or Blaire if I can catch them in the office and they Refused to call because "they are absolutely off on the weekend" ....... I'm just about ready to go legal.... For account fraud, return of room taxes after 30 day occupancy, unauthorized uses of another card, and violation of tenant rights. I need help ASAP so that I don't have to help myself. I've already spoken with a lawyer I'm just giving the opportunity to IMMEDIATELY correct this financially as I will become homeless after tomorrow because of this which will add emotional distress...

While the staff were incredibly sweet upon check in, we found several brown banded roaches within our room. My partner and I had just settled in after a 6 hour drive and long day at work, and to say we were beyond ready for a shower/bed would be an understatement. Unfortunately we were beat to our shower by a few critters. I took a couple of photos and we both agreed that this was not the stay for us. We were in our room for about 10 minutes before dropping our keys back off. Upon explaining the situation as politely as possible, my partner left to grab our room keys from the car. While my partner was doing so, the individual at front desk staff proceeded to tell me what I found and had pictures of were not roaches but flies… they definitely were not… but I’ll humor the suggestion. Regardless of the invertebrate, fly, larvae, or roach. None of which are favorable circumstances and we would have preferred not to have 6 legged roommates. My partner and I both work as entomologists/herpetologist. So working one on one with all things scaled and creepy crawling is up our alley. We would just prefer to keep that inline with our work and not during our stress free attempts of a getaway. I promise we know the difference between most flavors of invertebrates. The push to suggest otherwise and that we wouldn’t find another hotel to rest at within the area while my partner was not in the room just left a sour taste in our mouth. As did the entire interaction towards the end. Upon asking how to approach a refund and cancellation, I was told we would have to pursue that further with Booking.com and have done so. We are currently waiting for responses on either end. Hopefully communication between those involved is seamless and we can come to a resolution. We have solely stayed at La Quinta all around this side of the states and this is the first time we’ve had an experience like this with them. We’ve always loved our stays prior to this and hope that this was just a one time experience. “Fly” pictures below🪰🪳 I will say, they are kinda cute but they definitely didn’t chip in on the bill. We may have reconsidered our stay if they paid for a night or two lmao

Good value for $, comfy beds, great breakfast, great location. Loud at night on weekend. Long version: I paid a hundred more than "typical" since I needed this room on short notice and on a weekend. Had I paid their usual rate (under a hundred) I'd have found this place a good value for the money so I'm reviewing it as if I paid the typical rate. In this price range you don't expect bedspreads to be washed, and they aren't, as far as I can tell. One has pink stains on it. They are at least something cotton-like,to and not cheap polyester. I checked for bedbugs before settling in - no evidence of them on the mattresses. The room is damp, but that's typical in this range. It smells a bit bad, like faint smoke and body odor, which is why I have the door propped open as I write this. The decor and carpet are new and nice looking; the beds were narrow (not queen) but comfortable. The wall unit is the most quiet AC I've ever encountered, a definite plus. The sink doesn't drain easily; I had to unscrew the stopper. Shower is nice and strong. The breakfast is much more than "continental" - it includes hard boiled eggs and make-your-own waffles, and the eating area is clean and attractive. The coffee comes from a machine but actually is ok, I've had worse! The staff are pleasant and helpful. The location is convenient. We went to the Zoo (very close) and downtown (an easy commute.) The staff even gave my son a cookie when they found out it was his birthday. We didn't appreciate the loud party (a big one) around the pool last night, which was going strong well after 10pm but it most likely comes with the price range in a nightlife town on a weekend. My main helpful criticism is that the facilities are in rough shape. Peeling paint, rusty rails... and the pool is full of cigarette ashes and butts. My brave son swam in it anyway yesterday, even though the water was very, very cold (5 feet at the deepest point, most areas 3 feet, sunny only in the morning due to facing East.) The area is quiet, there's a Waffle House next door. Parking is adequate for the number of rooms, it appears. You can do a lot worse for the money.
