Parkway Cinema 6 — Local services in Natchitoches

First of all I definitey understand their policies and procedures with minors and night time r rated movies but if I have an emergency that forces me to leave her watching the movie because of eating their spoiled nachos to drive 1.2 miles and return in less than 10 minutes I do not believe she should've been kicked out of the movie and told to call another parent. Other precautions could have been taken. They could have let her watch a pg or g rated movie for 10 minutes or let her sit in the lobby till I returned. They could have refunded our money bc the movie was only 20 minutes in. They could have gotten her to call me to see what happened. I called the manager after leaving to explain my emergency but he had the audacity to tell me that I should have learned a valuable lesson tonight about their rules and polices, which I've never read in the 36 years that I've been going there, I absolutely refuse to attend another parkway cenima 6 movie in Natchitoches ever again in my life neither will my daughter or any of our family or friends and hopefully anyone who reads this. I'll be searching for a lot to build another movie theater in Natchitoches first thing Monday morning. Call me a racist if u want but I've noticed that they don't get or show controversial black movies with strong black leads and supporting casts such as Harriet and Queen and Slim until the box office confirms that they are among the #1 selling movies in the country bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars. Just my opinion but I think that parkway cenima 6 Natchitoches, LA 71457 should be boycotted by all African Americans and any other minorities including any Caucasians who even slightly agree with my statement about the controversial African American movies. Parkway Cenima 6 is against these types of movies until they realize how much money they bring in and then all of a sudden 'now showing' Films that are African American, owned, produced, written, directed, casted, and starring ...

The credit card machine was down 🙄so it was cash only. Thankfully we had cash, but a lot of folks had to go to the ATM. Luckily there is one in the parking lot of the theater but it's still a bit of hassle when this happens. It happened to us once before & we didn't have cash so having to go get cash and back in line put us late for our movie. On a good note though the all day $5 Tuesday for all shows is so nice. The ticket prices are already pretty good but $15 for 3 ppl is great! Also the concession stand is much more affordable than other larger cinemas, we love the Nacho's and Icee's 😊I'm glad they added more screens and bathrooms that are much better but they really need to update the seats and stuff in the original 4 theaters and original bathrooms as well. I've been going to parkway cinema since I was 10 so I have a lot of memories there. Now I am making memories w/ my kids there which is nice. Just some upgrades would be cool but not if it jacks up the concession stand or ticket prices too much 😉 thanks...

A Joke of an establishment. So I live in Texas and on my way in to visit family in Louisiana I rushed to get to Parkway Cinema to watch a new movie @ 9:30 at night. This careless and unfriendly staff and security guard told me I was not allowed in. They couldn’t make one exception to let me pay when I was only 5 MINUTES LATE!! the previews were still rolling. They don’t value customers, it’s just a ‘job’ for them they don’t understand how a business works which is probably why their cesspool of a theater is falling apart and they’ve went through several ownerships. So many other advanced theaters to go to that offer a better quality picture and HD this theater is 30 years behind. I would rather watch Joe Biden eat ice cream and fumble through a speech than EVER GO here again to watch a movie! They’ve lost a 30 + year customer annd my entire family and acquantances over their laziness and inability to understand their customer. Take the extra half hour to a REAL theater in Alexandria...
