Hana Steakhouse Seafood & Sushi — Restaurant in Natchitoches

This location is small and compact. It wasn't very clean. The tables weren't very clean, our drink menu was totally disgusting it was soaking wet with something, you could tell it had been there a while cause it actually had started to mildew. Our waitress was new and still learning so that came with its perks.she was really sweet but her knowledge of the menu and taking orders weren't that great. She took my order wrong I corrected her and she still got it wrong. Not to mention they made my king roll all wrong. When I told the waitress that it was wrong she just sent the manager over. The manager was very polite and sorry for the mix up and took the Roll of my bill as I didn't want to wait for a remake. This location was a little hectic, our waitress was new so she was a bit all over the place running around frantic. Our food came out in a crazy order we got one sushi roll before our appetizers then the other one came finally our food and I had to ask where our last roll was and of course that was the wrong one. I was expecting the quality to be a bit better. The food wasn't bad but I've definitely had better. Nonetheless my daughter enjoyed her birthday dinner and her favorite the lsu roll with no cream cheese! I recommend the Alexandria location its bigger...

The habachi was okay, sushi was amazing, and fried rice was one the best i’ve ever had. I am giving this place a one star due to how I saw the waitress and waiters being treated. It was absolutely disgusting. I ate here over a month ago and i still can’t get over it. I heard the constantly being yelled at and belittled. When I gave my server their tip, they thanked me and told that now that had enough to cover and dine and dash and their mistake from that day. This response peaked my interest (as i had given them a 50 dollar tip) and the server informed me that the waitress and waiters must pay for any dine and dashes and that any mistake food order put in (according to my server even if the guest lie about it. the servers are never in the right to the bosses). They also informed me that this money still comes out there checks. I am absolutely horrified that how greedy and money hungry these owners and I wish to never give my money to these type of people again and i suggest you...

I'm from New Orleans where dining and food is known to be one of the best cities in the world. I visit Natchitoches 7 - 12 times each year for the past 25 years. I make certain to dine at Hana Steakhouse, since it has opened, at least 5 of those visits (or more). I enjoy both the table service and Hibachi food preparation and service. There aren't any Hibachi restaurants as there once were in New Orleans. Therefore Hana Steakhouse is an enjoyable experience if you're interested in unique Hibachi service. The menu selection, quality of food, price and service is always fabulous and probably the BEST in Natchitoches! The service rendered by my waiter, CHARLES, is equal to the quality of food.
