Robert needs to learn what customer service is or be fired. We shop at this store when we are in town, never again.

We arrived at the store shortly after it opened to souvenir shop like we usually do, many people had the same idea. When we went to check out there were 2 cash registers by the door but only Robert was running one no one was working the second register. There was a girl working very close by, dusting items with a duster. The line to check out was long and it was taking too long to check out. When it was finally our turn I let my daughters friend who is 12 and came with us on vacation check out in front of us encase she needed help with her money. I forget what the total was she gave Robert $40 and was going to get back maybe $8.97. When my wife saw that she was going to get a lot of change (coins) back she asked if I had change to give Robert so she wouldn't have a pocket full of change. I was already thinking the same thing reached into my pocket and pulled out the exact change (coins). So she would get $9.00 as opposed to $8.97. This all happened in a matter of less than a minute. Robert was having to open up a role of pennies I believe it was and refused to accept the change from me. I asked him why, and he said because he had already started unwrapping the coins. I said, are you serious, you made us wait in line and now you won't even take the change I am offering? He responded "That's Right" with about the worst attitude and look on his face I have seen. He was basically taunting me. At that point the girl who was dusting rushed over and opened the second register and offered to check me out. I did not ask to speak to a manager since they were the only 2 people we had seen in the store. This might not sound like a big deal to some, but his attitude towards us was terrible. There are plenty of other places to...
Read moreIf you have ever been in Island Style, you'll know exactly why I believe they should be given 10 stars. The second you walk through the doors, the Florida vibe immediately hits you. For a gift shop, there is absolutely nothing that you would not be able to find. The souvenirs to take back home as a remembrance of what was hopefully a wonderful vacation or for a local, t-shirts proudly displaying Navarre Beach. I personally love their sandals. High quality (not that cheap tacky stuff), that will give you years of wear. Go back to the t-shirts, soft - so soft, I wear one as a nightshirt. I have dresses and jewelry from there. Cups/mugs that I use everyday at work. This store should not be considered just as a tourist-type store - locals shop here and we know that the tourists always want to go to the places locals shop. I had the opportunity to meet the owners, when I could not find a shirt in the size I needed to ship out. They bent over BACKWARDS to see to it that it was ordered and shipped directly to my daughter. This gift shop surpassess anything like it in the surrounding area. Please support our local business...
Read moreDecent selection of things but staff not helpful at all. I work retail and when someone ask me something that we dont carry i try to be very helpful to suggest where they might be able to find it. Unfortunately here there young staff didnt even try. We were looking for an air brushing place and the guy says nope i dont have a clue. Ridiculous thing it was the big green building across the road just a lil more down the road. The crazy thing we bought from you all twice and was only there 3 days. We were greeted but never was offered assistance. All we saw were 2 young guys and they were busy putting out new stock. The 2nd time there was an adult woman who told us to go to the other register because it was busy and a line was forming. But like i said the selection was good we purchased over 250 in...
