Muddy Water Bookstore — Local services in Navasota

My mom and I were in town for a quick birthday getaway. We took some time to hang out in town and were so happy to see a bookstore. We were even happier when we entered. The decorations for each theme were so fun and spot on! Could tell horror was the owners favorite. Also got to chat with the owner and another customer about books. We had so many fun chats about what our icks are in books and shared new series to read. We had a blast! I will definitely go back especially after my mom and I read 'Bunny', horror rec from owner. We absolutely LOVE and are obsessed with this book store. So much love, care, and thought has gone into all the little details that makes it so charming and welcoming. I went in recently with my family and wanted to grab some little gifts for my kids without them noticing, the clerk made eye contact with me and was like "On it!" A lovely shop ran by a lovely woman, there is also a super cute friendly dog to greet you at the door! She had everything I could want and things I didn’t even know I wanted.
