I used to come here for all my retro games because I thought this place was trustworthy but I don’t think so anymore. I bought a Nintendo switch there that I was specifically told was “tested and worked perfectly” only to find that it had a broken Joycon which sent me to get a repair kit and ended with me buying all new joycons which sent the price for what I THOUGHT I paid for OVER retail price. Now I came to sell my PS4 Slim with 1TB hard drive (I changed out the 500GB hard drive for 1TB) and it worked PERFECTLY. But no, I was treated like an idiot who didn’t know some ribbon wasn’t supposed to stick out. (And I pointed out that it was, the ribbon was merely a handle to take out the hard drive when replacing it. One simple search on the internet can prove that). But no, they said they haven’t seen that before. And supposedly that was the only issue. Then when I came back to show them they were wrong with a tutorial video explaining the significance of the ribbon, they said that now they wouldn’t take it because the place where the hard drive was stored was opened or whatever. I just stood there, dumbfounded that they wouldn’t take a WORKING PS4 with every part working as it should be?? And it’s not like I hardcore modified the PS4 with cheats or LEDs or put some illegal program on it, I literally just added storage to it, which doesn’t affect it. They also could’ve tested it?? Like it’s not like they were busy, they were just standing there buddying it up. In fact, I bought an SNES there (which thank God a polite third employee tested in front of me) but when I initially asked about it, one of the other employees who was one of the two I’ve been talking about, said that they didn’t have any SNES’s. Then he changed his answer to they did have an SNES but without the controller. Then the polite third employee showed initiative and common decency by saying “Hey, let me check on that, just in case”. Sure enough, if the other guy had taken two seconds to walk 10 feet away from where he was just hanging out, he could’ve looked in a box and found that there was a working SNES with all the cables and a controller. And so the polite guy took it out, said I was just in luck, and made sure it was working as any decent employee should, and I bought it. They also had no issue when I said that I switched out the hard drive, instead they just tried to make me look stupid. They just told me to take it to GameStop which would pay significantly less because, you know, It’s GameStop. I don’t know who’s in charge of that place, but the polite guy seems to be the only one who cares. I’ve been there a bunch of times before so I know who I’m talking about and that he’s a good guy. In fact, he’s probably the only reason I would give this place a star instead of none in the first place. I know other places that sell the old games I love and I believe they’ll be my go-to from now on. (Also the cool guy wasn’t present in the whole...
Read moreWhat good is a pawn shop when you can’t pawn (by definition- get a loan in exchange for collateral ) anything? They don’t wanna do loans on anything they (like just about all shops) wanna either buy (and barely give you a third of what it’s really worth) or just say no altogether (which is my experience - I’ve tried to get loans on guitars, PlayStations, comic collections, but they don’t wanna give loans out). I don’t want to lose my guitar, for instance, I just needed money for a bill that can’t wait till pay day Tuesday(which is when I’d come back). How they can keep their pawnbrokers license is beyond me, since to have a pawnbrokers license they need to PAWN things, not just completely take advantage of people down on their...

I stopped by Nazareth Exchange while passing through town and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and immediately felt at ease. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me a great deal on a coin set he had.
What stood out the most was their customer service—when I mentioned I was also looking for pocket watches, the owner took the time to direct me to a reputable local shop. It's rare to find such honest and helpful service these days!
If you're looking for fair prices, quality items, and friendly, knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend checking out Nazareth Exchange. I'll definitely be back next time...
