Beautiful scenery of the water, with places to stop and chill, on a bench or the beach as you're walking. I walked from the New Bedford side to the Fairhaven side, it was approximately 6 miles, and it was so enjoyable I didn't even notice how far I'd walked.

This is a seriously beautiful walk on top of the hurricane barrier. There are several places to park, at either end or in the middle on Cove Road, where you can easily access the walk. A little over a mile from end to end, there's always a refreshing breeze blowing...
