I had reached out to Julie in the beginning of my wedding dress search with some style names/numbers and lucky for me - she had a HUGE selection of the designer I was interested in so it worked out really well! She made an appointment for me and my mom to come in so I could try on the first few dresses she had in mind based on my preferences, and then a few weeks later she called me back to let me know that one of my dresses I had originally asked for was just delivered - This was a sign! I made another appointment, brought ALL of my bridal party and my mom and we made it into a whole "say yes to the dress" type of event with signs to hold up, and lots of tissues. It was great. The dress I had my eye on which had just come in ended up being THE dress! Julie has the BEST price, and when it comes to alterations you can not beat her prices either. She works quickly too and for me, I was training a lot leading up to the wedding and ended up dropping a few sizes since it was ordered so she and her seamstress definitely had a lot of work to do! I was able to get my final fitting the week before the wedding day and everything was great. My * Only * criticism about my experience is that, Julie can be very vocal about her opinion on what looks best and what doesn't, and for some people who are a bit more sensitive, or not strong enough to stick to their own guns on what THEY feel is best, may have a hard time handling Julie haha - I personally liked it, and it all worked out fine for me. she hated that I went with this short veil and had no issues letting me know haha. My mother has recently lost 80 plus and was feeling excited to go look for a dress after her drastic weight loss. The owner all she did the whole time was tell my mom she was fat. My mom tried on many dresses that she didnât like and the owners response was âwell they donât have many options when youâre bigâ. My mom tried on a dress and said she felt the bottom was too full and the owners response was âwell you need full because you are fullâ. Of my mom found a dress she liked the lady said ânope youâre too big for that dressâ. My mom started getting frustrated and stated that she lost over 80 plus and wanted to feel good in a dress. The owner LAUGHED in her face and said âoh ok, but when youâre heavy like you the only color choice is navy blueâ. My mom found one that she liked a lot but it was not her size. My wife and I told my mom that sheâs been working so hard and maybe one day she can buy the dress for a cruise as it wasnât available in her size. The owner laughed AGAIN and then said âyour not going to lose more for a cruise and when your on the cruise youâll gain it all backâ. This lady was horrible and had my mom leave in tears.    Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my sister's experience at Julieâs Bridal. She had an accessory appointment, which should have been a joyful occasion, but instead, she left in tears. The salesperson was incredibly rude and condescending about every idea my sister had. Worse, she mocked the dress my sister had already purchased, repeatedly making rude comments even when my sister tried to redirect the conversation back to accessories, which was the purpose of the appointment. Seems as though the salesperson was trying to push my sister into buying a dress from their shop instead. Unusual sales technique. If the shop doesn't want to accommodate accessory appointments for clients bringing dresses from other designers, why offer the service at all? This experience has made my sister feel insecure about her dress, which is heartbreaking. Every part of planning her wedding should be positive and exciting, but this salesperson made the interaction extremely uncomfortable.
