Gamers Realm — Local services in New Berlin

This has been my home store in Milwaukee area for a long time, so I have a bias, but if you are looking to play miniatures this is the shop to go to. They carry a decent line for Privateer Press, full paint supplies, large amount of GW, and some of the more minor games like Wrath of Kings and Bolt Action. A great amount of paint supplies helps you keep stocked, while their game tables provide a great place to push figures - including terrain and a good selection of mats to play on. The owners are very knowledgeable about a large variety of games, so questions can be answered there on the spot. I love it as a miniatures dedicated store. Wednesday's D&d groups are filing up. At the time of this review there are 5+ tables running. Space is a little limited and at times parties can get a little rambunctious and loud so quieter individuals may feel drowned out by by the volume. There has been times where they open up the basement for tables to stretch out but heating down there is minimal at best so winter gaming is a little more bundled up in layers down there. Plenty of miniature painting supplies and "other" non standard board games. It's a small store but they make it up in character and going the extra mile for their guests. If they don't have something in stock, they'll gladly order it for you. So if you need a book you can be the first one to open it. Nothing better than supporting an up and coming local mom...

So I feel that I have to justify this 5 star review and here we go. This was a really fun visit for the wife and I as board game enthusiast's we stopped in and the amount of enthusiasm from the guys in the store was great! We learned a lot about Warhammer 40k First Strike and Guild Ball which we are planning to return to learn on an upcoming Tuesday date night.

It is a miniature focused store so keep that in mind but I again really liked the people in the store for questions and guidance on minature painting and paint. They are working on issues with the hours they are open and I talked with one of the business partners about it when I stopped by...
