This is our neighborhood Culver's and we have been going here for years. I went through the drive thru yesterday for custard and again today for food. Both times the wait was extremely long, I understand your process of making the food when ordered, but this was extreme. Instead of parking people in line that were waiting for food, they just let them sit at the window, backing up the line for the drive thru to the street. Many people just drove out of the line behind me.
Today's adventure is still unbelievable to me. I was told at the drive thru speaker that the store had run out of hamburger buns...Wait, what? How does this happen? Could they not pick some up from another store? In any event, I changed my order to pot roast sandwiches and was told they weren't served on hamburger buns.
Again, the wait continued. From the time I was at the speaker until I got to the window was at least ten minutes. They didn't park any of the vehicles in front of me. When I got to the window I was again informed that they had run out of hamburger buns. I said I know, that's why I changed my order to pot roast. Without explanation, I was given a couple other bread options to choose from. I was told that I would be given a 10% discount for my trouble, however looking at my receipt, I didn't receive it. Since I had to choose bread at the window, that meant my order hadn't been started at that point, even though I sat in line for at least ten minutes.
I was then given a number and asked to pull ahead. They must have decided to finally start parking customers. The next four cars behind me were also parked. I sat there waiting for my food for at least another ten minutes. I understand time can stand still when you're waiting, however I'm being very conservative with my time estimates.
I have worked with the public most of my adult life and understand the challenges. My wife and I are very understanding of hiccups in the process. The past two visits to this store just seemed to be uncontrolled chaos and beyond a hiccup. There seemed to be plenty of people behind the counter, actually running into each other at times. I'm not sure if there has been a recent management change at this location, but I want to make ownership aware of what I saw so you don't continue to have customers just drive away. I'm also hoping these issues will be addressed because we do enjoy eating here but can't continue to tolerate this...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 starts I would absolutely horrible. I understand that you are shot staff but still pay attention to your customers just say I will be right with you.we waited 5 mins just for our order to be taken. We we got our order finally taken I ordered a scoup of ice cream and my husband got a pint out of the freezer. I'm not even kidding I waited 15 mins for the ice cream and there were customers at the counter asking where is the counter person we want to order. After leaveing and getting home after the horrible experience my husband goes to open up his ice cream and eat it and says this is horrible and spits it out. I tasted it and it was freezer burned for sure. I called and asked to talk to a manager and let her no what happend and all she says was umm ok sorry and hangs up so horrible never going there again . I'm glad I wasted my money on something I could not even eat. The managers sure need some training on dealing...
Read moreInconsistent drive thru service. I can't tell you how many times I have had to go back through the drive thru and/or called to speak to the manager because they messed up my order. I get it, people mess up sometimes, however, my family and I are regular customers. One day I had ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and was given only the chicken with a bottom bun, the next day my mom ordered a 6 piece shrimp basket and when she got home she noticed they gave her a chicken sandwich instead; two days later I ordered a single butter burger with cheddar cheese meal. Not only did they give me a double butter burger but they forgot my fries. A few days ago I ordered a meal with a large diet root beer, only to be handed my meal with a literally half full cup of root beer. All of this happened with different people. I would not recommend this Culver's. The kids who work there are always chatting away by the drive thru window. No wonder they keep getting my...
