This train station is what often leads to passengers being stranded at New York Penn Station because trains will often terminate here without continuing all the way to Trenton. This pathetic excuse of a train station has no passenger amenities, is not wheelchair accessible, and the land use around it is absolutely terrible. NJ Transit should consider closing this station and turning it into a railfan park and museum similar to that of the Macungie Train Watching Platform in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. A replica of a historic depot could be built with a small model railroad among other exhibits, and a park with flowers and a fountain could also be built.
