Cozy Room Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in North Brunswick Township

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I placed an online order on their restaurant website at 6:30 PM, my estimated time of delivery was 7:20. At about 7:45 when my food still had not arrived, I called and was told my food was next to be delivered.. WAIT BEST PART- I get a call at 8:10 from the manager telling me that they were SO busy, they didn't check the online orders and they would start cooking my order now. But I would have to wait ANOTHER 30-35 minutes to get my food because there were people ahead of me. Now it's 2 hours later, my delivery man calls and tells me he's here but I had to go outside about a half a block up from my apartment to get my food... AND THEY FORGOT MY SHUMAI. This was such a joke. I've never been so annoyed with delivery in my entire life. I will never order from here again....

I have had problems with their delivery time before (1+ hours wait) but today it is ridiculous. I am now waiting for our food to be delivered for literally 2 HOURS 10 minutes and counting and no sign of them. I called them 14 times and every single time the phone is busy. If they don’t give us at least a 50% refund tonight for this horrible service I’m never ordering from here again. If they are this busy they should tell you on the phone so that you can make plans to pick it up yourself or order from somewhere else...it’s a shame cuz the food itself is really great for Chinese takeout. I would give this place zero stars if that was an option...

Delivery took an hour and 50 minutes. The food that was delivered was leaking and none of the containers were actually full like all the other Chinese food I’ve ever had. My California roll had brown avocado and gray-clear cucumber. I thought it was weird I had to specify on the eat24 site that I wanted fortune cookies and soy sauce and that I was ordering for 5 people. I received 4 soy sauce packets and no fortune cookies. Sushi was very stingy with ginger and wasabi. Tanya their “receptionist” was very helpful, but that is the only positive comment I have. Also the driver called me when they were outside and I had to ask him to come to the door. The Thai soup was delicious, but was almost completely...
