Mint Cannabis - New Buffalo — Local services in New Buffalo Township

I had two phone/ video chat interviews with this company. They both went very well. They were very pleasant to talk to, and seemed very interested in my previous work experience, and job ethics. I applied for the Admin position, which is checking in guest when they come into the store check their IDs and send them to a bud tender. I have 10 plus years of work experience in customer service industry, as I also have supervision experience as well. I am over qualified for this job. I applied because I had a very horrible accident 4 months ago that caused me to not be able to keep my position at me previous job. I felt that I would do just fine being an admin. Well in my second phone call they decided to call me and let me know they were very impressed by my previous experience, but that they would be going with other candidates that have more experience in the cannabis industry. I purposely applied for the admin position for this very reason I did not want to be a bud tender and do not need to be extremely knowledgeable with cannabis, only customer service skills, and working under pressure and a fast paced store. Oh well their loss I am a very hard worker, and very dependable it’s unfortunate as to I was very excited to come and work for mint cannabis. I went to their reviews on job indeed where I applied for the position and they had nothing but bad reviews on working there, and employees saying how awful it is and similar situations like mine that happened as well. I was very dissatisfied from the moment we walked in. As we were being checked in, we started talking about other dispensaries in the area. We we're then subjected to who I assume was security for the store bad mouthing the other places. I find that very unacceptable and rude. I did continue inside the store with my daughter. Because she wanted to go in and see if the experience with the budtender was better. It was not much better as he seemed very nervous and kept dropping things. He also made me feel very rushed and didn't have answers to my questions or even try to find out answers to them. My daughter did make a purchase of something she ended up not being happy with but I did not make a purchase and will not be returning to make a purchase. I find it in very poor taste that you allow your employees to bad mouth other places. We also asked about an industry discount as my daughter works in the industry, and a gentleman answered us. He told us he thought it was 30%, but that he wasn't sure after that he walked away and again. The security guard started running his mouth being upset that people in the industry get the same discount, he gets and that's not fair. I personally think you need to find new security because you're going to lose a lot of business due to this man. I myself will NOT be returning to your store. I'm almost sure my daughter will NOT be returning to your store either especially since she doesn't drive and i refuse to drive her there. it’s sooo beautiful in there first off!! absolutely loveee the colors, and atmosphere:)- all the workers were so friendly! our budtender was Lonta:) super freaking sweet, so nice, very welcoming, it was our first time there so he made us feel very comfortable and he is so goofy! we also got free goodie bags and my first time ever seeing a dope bag lol ( looks like a tote bag) just so many cute, amazing little things that caught my eyes! i’m very easily intrigued by the little things and they definitely had so much! OOO anddd my momma got a freaking bud nugget magnet lmaoooo i have never seen such a thing in my lifeee! she had to have it! they had earrings and little nugget keychains just so cute. sooo down to the good stuff- i got lots of pre-rolls bc like i said was my first time i was just plannin on stoppin in browsing seeing whats what but noooo had to come out with something and plus i can’t remember if the free goodie bag was for buying so much money or bc we were on of the first 100 customers- the goodie bag come with free eddies, a screw on cart, a pre-roll, and flower:)! but anyways i got cali blaze, i think i got like 7 for 30 and fire styxx i think i got like 10 for 30 but have only tried the grape escape fire styxx so far and i shit you not it’s the best grape flavor i have ever had- taste like grape kool- aid so if you ain’t a fan of grape stay away from that flavor lol, and the taste of the bud itself great smoke really good. long story short will definitely be returning to...
