The beach is a bit small but beautiful. I recommend going a little further down where it's less crowded. Sunsets there are nice and there are many homes to rent within five minutes of walking distance.

This is a lovely spot to bring the children and deserves a look if you are in the area looking to lounge by the lake. I have marked I down for three reasons, firstly, the parking facilities are under served for busy weekends, the parking attendants who are quick to ticket, could place a Car Lot Full sign across the entrance to stop the crush. Secondly, the boardwalk stops 30 meters too soon, I cannot imagine the tide washing it away but I may be wrong. Thirdly, I got a ticket so sour...

A nice beach with concessions and a lighthouse to walk out to. Boat launch is across the street.

The beach isn't too wide, but it's long from the parking lot to the water. There is an entry fee to park, but many people park in town and walk down. Parking in town can become congested. Plenty of shopping and food nearby.
