From the moment I enter the store, I am intoxicated by the most amazingly intense chocolatiest aroma wafting in the air. The store is smartly laid out and arranged so it makes it easy and convenient to find all your favorites if you want to be in and out. Me, I like to linger, it's my happy place. The counters are chock full of all the candy store classics: luscious peanut butter cups in three different chocolates; heavenly turtles with every nut imaginable; creamy, mouthwatering truffles in a variety of wonderful flavors. My family loves the hand dipped chocolate covered fruits especially the bright, zippy ginger and their coconut bonbons with a lovely texture and perfect sweetness. They also have many unique and interesting chocolate flavors and combinations like using crispy quinoa in place of traditional rice in a chocolate meltaway. They have artfully molded chocolate shapes for each holiday along with holiday staples: chocolate caramel covered apples, the world's best Peppermint Bark, chocolate covered strawberries for your Valentine, their own special recipe Irish potatoes with a hint of chocolate, and creative jellybean bark. The owners Justin and Tom are true experts who pride themselves on their use of high quality ingredients. Their meticulous attention to these important details shine through in every delightfully irresistible piece. The super sweet, warm, lovely ladies who work tirelessly behind the counter put the shopping experience over the top. They are patient while you take in all the selections and offer you helpful suggestions. They package everything carefully, thoughtfully, and lovingly with complimentary gift wrap if you choose. Their employees are always happy and in great spirits even during the busy holiday season. I ordered goodies from their website for the first time. The whole process was seamless. Their website is easy to use and navigate. The checkout process is quick and straightforward. Everything arrived pristine. I had traveled in Belgium and had exceptional chocolate before I discovered this local treasure. I finally found a shop in America to rival what I experienced abroad. I am thrilled to have such a consistently excellent, top notch, reliably remarkable, and surprisingly reasonably priced chocolatier in the area. I first visited Pierre’s last year and fell in love. Their treats are one of a kind. Yesterday, I decided to order some goodies for my mother and mother-in-law for Mother’s Day and picked them up today. After I got home and checked my bag, I realized my strawberry order wasn’t there. I rang up the shop really quick and they pulled up my order and came up with a solution for me.Though they had already closed for the day, they were staying late to fulfill orders for the holiday and they gave me the option to come back today or tomorrow to pick up the last bit of my order. I rushed over and could not thank them enough for accommodating me. With our world being turned upside down and the busyness of Mother’s Day, patience and compassion is a must.

I just got home again and opened my bag and they not only threw in some extra treats but they wrote a lovely note to thank me for my understanding. This gesture is not something that I was expecting and it shows how hard working, appreciative and deserving every employee at this business is.

Just wanted to give a shout out to my all time favorite Chocolate Shop. Pierre's Chocolates in New Hope, PA. I've been going to.this small business since the early 80s and will continue to do so. The chocolates are out of this world and the staff is so wonderful. Not once have I had a bad experience while dealing with them. They are always helpful and courteous, even during the holidays. Let's face it, this pandemic has been hard on all of us but it's been especially hard on the small businesses. For any place to have survived the closures and restrictions is amazing. So kudos to them. As to the mask wearing, I feel that any business has the right to handle the safety of their staff and customers as they need to. I personally have no problem wearing my mask anywhere. By doing so you are not only protecting yourself, but all your loved ones and other people too.
