Well, we used to live the piano bar at the old Raven (now a parking lot) and we’ve meant to try the Cub Room right across the street but finally got there this weekend for our first year Wedding Anniversary. Now we have a favorite pub to stop in, complete with great food, great drinks, friendly owners and atmosphere. We actually arrived a little late and with live music it was a bit crowded, but the owner and his wife could tell we were newbies and actually cleared a place for us at a table right up front next to the musician. Unheard of in this day and age, we were so grateful and could have listened to the artist play the violin for hours, it was beautiful 🎻. We hired a DJ and danced all night on the great dance floor, with access to a lovely deck overlooking a fountain. A few of us even relaxed in the garden hammocks. There’s a small pool there too, but we didn’t know if we were allowed to use it, and were dancing so much we never asked. You really can’t go wrong with this place—I’m already looking forward to coming back for one of their tea dances! It’s a gay friendly bar, so if you don’t feel that way, don’t go, but otherwise all are welcome. You...
