Man, I so hate doing this but so many problems. Let's start with service. We had to ask for so many things at least three times and some we didn't even get until the end like lemon for the tea, missed bisquit (because she never checked on our meal after she dropped them) and when we first got there was asked if we had a reservation, what? They had about six tables open and never thought it was required there or an option. We live less than 10 minutes away. Then the food. My steak was great not really any complaints. One person got mashed potatoes that were so bad and runny he could not eat them. Another got their fried chicken and they forgot his biscuit and it was dry, like choke down dry and also you are only allowed French fries as a side and only one side. For $20 that's a bit odd to me especially since the pieces we on the small side. Then there was a large party that was was so loud we could not even hear each other talk, we had a relative visit and couldn't really carry a conversation. Lastly, our bill total was $120 with tip, we were charged $123.95 and I am assuming that is for use of the credit card, we would not know because of course we were never given the receipt nor told there is a charge to use it. Don't believe we will be back, I am starting to think the local restaurants are geared for the one time only traveler off of 81 and just doesn't care about bringing their best. We did like our first visit for breakfast but dinner was a whole different story. We wanted to make it out regular weekly place but we won't.

Nice atmosphere, food quick, quality and tasty. Prices on par with...

This place was horrible from the time we walked in. The place was not very busy. The girl behind the bar greeted us with blatant annoyance and said with a sigh, “just find a seat and someone will be with you, I guess”. My husband, me, and our friends-another couple just looked at each other with surprise after she said that. We sat down at a high top right next to the bar. I had to get up and get menus for us after about 10 minutes of waiting for a server to come over and acknowledge us. That bartender who was visibly just miserable finally came over to take our drink order. Came back with our beverages and threw straws on the table and took our food order. I got a Reuben- I took a bite and it tasted funny. I lifted the bread and the corned beef was dark brow with tiny spots of the normal pinkish color it’s supposed to be. That meat was spoiled. The bartender did not ask if everything was ok and I was not going to even approach her about it. My husband gave me half of his fish sandwich. The funny thing is it looks like someone else who gave a review had ordered a Reuben and stated they had food poison from it- perhaps this place should pay attention to the expiration dates and rotate their inventory. Bad vibes, bad food, miserable service, terrible place. (It takes a lot for me to give a bad review! I like to find the silver lining- there...

Our waitress, I believe her name was either Natasha or Natalia, was super nice and really efficient and she made the experience really enjoyable which brought the review up to 2 stars! However without her I’d probably give it a 1 star for sure. My newly wed wife and I are on our honeymoon and as we were leaving she had thrown up and got a really upset stomach. I drove us home and got a really upset stomach as well and did not feel well for quite a bit as well. The only things we both had similar from our meals were the salads and the waters, which I had asked for a different drink because the water tasted so bad. I’m very sure the water was not filtered (because I asked) so that could have been a possibility but also the salad could have had a bad preservative or just not washed properly. Either way the experience was decent until afterward where we were both left in the bathroom for a long time drinking a bunch of water and taking tums to bring down the aches. Thank you to our waitress for a good experience but I would defintiely not suggest asking for water, unless they specifically get a water filter, or getting a side salad in case those were the touchy spots. Not meaning to demean the restaurant, but I think those points need to be brought up. Thanks, Have...

Hadn't eaten out in a while, decided to make an order for pickup from this place. They originally messed up my order, so I had to call back, have them make me the right sandwich, go back up there again, and get it. Big mistake. Well, from the food I ate there, I ended up getting food poisoning. They confirmed I had food poisoning at the ER that I had to go to immediately because I couldn't stop getting sick the next day when I woke up (uncontrollably might I add, my poor husband had to clean the whole house from vomit because it was so sudden I didn't make it to the bathroom in time). I know it was their food that did it because it was the only thing I had to eat the day prior. I'm gonna stick with Italian Job from now on, I've certainly learned my lesson.

My friends and I were in the area on a girls trip. We stopped here to eat twice. The first experience was great. The service was perfect, the food was good, the place was decent. The next day we decided to hit the same spot since the area is so limited.. well it was awful! The grilled cheese and soup special was gross! The grilled cheese was dry, not buttered, and the cheese wasn't melted. The soup was mediocre at best, it tasted like canned soup. Our waitress was downright rude and unfriendly as you can get. We are typically big tippers, well she was lucky to get a $4 tip!! We plan on another visit to the area, but I do not think we will eat here.
