Fiddlestix Mercantile — Local services in New Oxford

I lived in the Littlestown/Hanover area all my life. Moved out of the area over 8 years ago now but whenever I am back visiting family, I always make a point to stop here while back in PA. This is one of my favorite stores. They have such unique items for a gifts or for yourself. I have gotten so many great items here especially for Fall/Christmas. I even got a beautiful dresser here for my spare bedroom, it was worth the haul back to VA! The women running/working this shop are always so nice and great to chat with. My first experience at Fiddlestix was disappointing. The shop was clean, however a litl pricey and I didn't feel welcomed. I wasn't acknowledged or asked If I needed help with anything. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My friend bought an ornament and on the receipt it states: We strive to provide quality products/ services to help you make informed decisions before making your purchase. As all sales are final. I was disappointed in my visit to Fiddlestix. Although I browsed around for 10 minutes or more - I was never greeted and never got a feeling of warmth. I spent a few minutes up front and the one person in the store was distracted and seemed stressed. I only share this so Fiddlestix can step up their Customer Service.
