My son's PS5 HDMI port needed to be fixed. Was told a $50 deposit then would call me to inform me of what needed to be done and cost. Got a call within a little over an hour saying $125 to fix the port. I said that's fine I would call back. When I did I hadn't realized it was an additional $125 plus tax plus he keeps the the $50 as well. Total was ABOUT $190 which was crazy to fix a HDMI but I just wanted to get it done so it was paid for. Now with that being said on the front is a USB port which I had my son's USB plugged into for his headset. Before bringing the gentlemen this PS5 I removed the plug, USB to headset, and the HDMI cord. Upon bringing the game home my son was excited because his PS5 was working YAY! Today he goes to insert the USB to his headset to do his gaming and the USB will not go into the port as it is not aligned with the front panel board. Instantly I call him to let him be aware of the situation and see what happened. His response was "I was did not touch the USB port only fixed the HDMI port". Then says "doesn't he have a USB port in the back?". OK yes he does but that's not the point. What happened to the port in the front. Employee states he didn't have to pull anything apart to fix the HDMI port. So $190 later port fixed but USB is broken but wasn't upon arrival. 🤔 😠 😡 Enjoy the money I had to borrow to fix my 11 year old's PS5. Sir!!! You're welcome!! I had a lot of issues with my laptop. Positively Charged Electronic Repair (Carl) had a good idea what was wrong. He diagnosed it in minutes. He gave me repair options and possible charges. I’m far from being a computer guy but he was able to explain to me the repairs in simple terms. I had issues with my power cord. The original was bad, I bought a new one but that didn’t work either. I thought my computer had broken again. I took it back to Carl and he looked at it immediately. He plugged a cord (an older one he had in the shop) into the computer and it immediately came to life. The cord I bought was not the correct cord for my laptop. He found one on Amazon and emailed the link. He then loaned me the power cord that worked so I could use my computer. No charge for this visit. Carl has a personality that is well balanced. He’s professional, pleasant, sense of humor, caring and very knowledgeable. Needed a relay replaced on a pool control panel and found Carl online. On a Saturday afternoon I sent him an email with pics to inquire if this was something he could do and within just a few minutes he responded with an affirmative answer. Coordinated a drop off time and upon arrival at his store, took care of it while I waited to keep me from having to make the over one hour round trip again.
