Overtime Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Florida

On a visit on jan 22nd after 9pm. I was asked to visit with a friend. Upon arrival the place was very clean. Very few masks on. There was live music.(one man band). We set at a small high round which was ok but once food started coming in, turned to be too small. We moved to a larger square had much more room. The food came all at different times but was very good. One plate of potato skins was said to be almost cold upon serving. (Was not mine) The dance area was no one but one couple turned to be family of the one man band "David- something). He was tracked and very loud. He had very limited music selection. It seemed as he had much to drink and very verbal. He spent one entire break squealing his equipment to get more volume. Dont know why because he was not very good. Then for the amount of clients thru the evening (2+ hours there) less than 50 patrons including help. Then at second break ... he went into a very vulgar rant filled with negative words that he was barely playing cords and his limited talent. This vulgar and filled with profanity rage which went on and on almost 10 minutes. I spoke with the bouncer as I up and left as well as the other 3 in my party and others. I have toured with many professionals across this country and spent 5 years with MGM Grand (CT) as assistant 3rd in rank FOH and crew. If that was my bar I would have had him pack his equipment and leave after the rant. But he went back to the stage and continued his rant and tried playing more. I'm sorry that this went on but its guys like this David who knows put a bad vibe to real artist. BAR OWNER... I WOULD MAKE SURE THIS MAN DOES NOT RETURN TO YOUR BAR. BAND, MOONSHINE ABBY IS GREAT! NOW WORK ON YOUR OWN ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! OR GET BAR RESCUE TO SAVE YOUR FOOD AND SERVICE!!!! The regularly dressed waitress very kind but never came around in the beginning to see if we needed anything once we got our drinks. We wanted food but never got to order any. Then there was a girl in a red tank n I tried to stop her to tell her we wanted to place an order. She ignored me. Another table tried to help me. She ignored them too. I tried again with their help . She said I'm busy helping these customers so you will wait. She eventually came back around. So we finally got to place an order about 45 minutes after we got here. The waitress was not too polite! The meal didn't take too long. Thankfully. The other guests at our table were waiting for 45 minutes for their food!!!!! Slow kitchen? 🐌 slow waitresses? But I know I can confirm the red shirt one is RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never sat in such darkness to eat a meal that I needed to use my cell phone to see my phone. When I said something, red shirt told me to use my cell phone for light. I said idk I was never hear before. She said I worked here for 9 years and that's the way it is. Everyone likes it dark. Wow ok rudie! Keep going!!!! 🤬 I don't like bar food in the dark! Get more help behind bar when you have a band! Get more help in restaurant area serving food and alcohol! They told my legally blind stepfather his service dog had to leave. My step father is clearly blind and has an I.D. card and everything for his dog. This is not an internet approved service dog. This is a 50,000 dollar dog from leader dogs for the blind. They obviously don't like blind people here. We will gladly take our business elsewhere. After 15 + years of coming here. The bartender was nice. It was her boss Cindy that doesnt like blind people. Update.... After news channel 8 showed up, Cindy (the boss) apologized and offered a free burger and beer to my step father. She claims she didnt know he was blind. I was there when her very nice apologetic employee called her and told her he was blind. Also its clear to see he is blind when the man walks in with dark glasses, a blind walking stick poking around and me directing him and the guide do where to go.
