I went with a friend that just got out of the hospital and he just wanted a Raman bowl. Having already ate, I ordered from appetizer list and asked several questions while pointing to exactly what I was ordering . I ordered the Appitizer shrimp tempura that included vegetables for$9.99. When the bill came , I questioned the 19.99 amt and the waitress said that was the price of the dinner. I then got a menu and pointed to the appetizer portion and that this was the page I ordered from even stating the item number at which she answered that appetizers are for before dinner and then I countered with but I wanted the appitizer FOR my dinner. Again she gained understanding and refused to adjust. Then I asked for manager, owner or someone in charge and the waitress told me non were there and that I pay the full portion or she will call the police. I called the police myself as I felt I was being extorted, when police came they stated that it’s a civil matter and can take her to court as SHE was the owner/manager ( SO SHE LIED TO ME about no management available). AI was forced to pay the full bill and also had a no-trespassed placed ( I would never return anyway) and to take her to court is by far not going to heal this situation over $10… BUT wow, good thing she did not claim I had double lobster tails. So be very Aware that this woman will lie, fane a language barrier, and loudly extort whatever she pleases. My only consolation is she may lose far more than the menial $10 as I was not looking for any perk, free meal or anything other than...
Read moreOne word. WOW! We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and we’ll definitely be back. Our family can be pretty tough to please, and I have gluten and dairy allergies on top of that, but everything about this experience was incredible.
When I called ahead, I was greeted by the sweetest voice (who turned out to be the owner, Yuki). She assured me they had plenty of gluten-free options, and when we arrived, our wonderful server went above and beyond to confirm what I could and couldn’t eat (sadly, no ginger dressing for me this time; next visit, I’ll bring my own).
We started with edamame, perfectly cooked, followed by miso soup and salad, both delicious. For my entrée, I had chicken and filet hibachi with double vegetables (no rice for me), and everything was outstanding. The steak melted in my mouth, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the veggies were cooked to perfection.
My kids shared ramen (because that’s what the demon hunters eat, IYKYK), my husband had his own bowl along with hot sake and a beer, and the table was full of happy sounds, “mmm,” “try this,” “this is so good,” and “we HAVE to come back!”
To top it off, we treated the kids to tempura ice cream since they ate really well, and my 8-year-old kept going back to his ramen until it was gone. Yuki came by at the end with keychains and candy for the kids, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch.
We left smiling from ear to ear, and my family has already asked to go back, and it hasn’t even...
Read moreNot good on take out! First time eating here, have heard amazing things and we were unfortunately extremely disappointed.
Spent $122, which obviously I don’t mind, but not to be this upset over. Two hibachi steak meals were okay, steak was good, veggies were good, rice was weird and un-flavored, tasted like Uncle Ben’s white rice. Two sushi rolls were NOT good AT ALL. The one that was supposed to have cucumber had romaine lettuce and no cream cheese. Like what? Awful!
Steak teriyaki was not good. The steak was extremely thin and overcooked, portion was very small and the sauce was thin and not flavored. The salads were not good as well, dressing was mayo based and not the typical ginger salad dressing, clear soup tasted stale and off.
Super disappointing and will definitely stick with Rooster Thai in the future. Truly hate giving a bad review, but I’m annoyed at the money spent and the...
