This lovely building is known as the Baha'i Home, as it once was a residential care facility for seniors. All Baha'i Houses of Worship will eventually have institutions surrounding them for the care of the local community, such as colleges, nurseries, pharmacies and hospitals. The Baha'i Home was the very first of these.

Because of updated laws by the State of Illinois for nursing homes, the building had to be closed. It was reopened as a suite of offices for the Baha'i National Center, and the main rooms are sometimes used for meetings and...

Visitors do not follow posted parking guidelines. All day meetings utilize most of the residential parking regularly. Terrible neighbors and careless about effect on others. Complaints...
