I forgot to bring a quarter, so I ran inside and asked if I could use a cart and give it back when I was done (so that I didn’t take their quarter) and they said no, so I ran to my car to get a $1 bill and asked them for quarters and again they said no. They said I had to bring my own. I normally do but forgot. I love the idea for the quarter. But turning down business and creating a barrier between the customer and the sale is ridiculous....

Brand new Aldi store and it shows. Beautiful clean everything, wide aisles, great produce & prices are better than Wallyworld. Many foods from Europe (cheeses, pasta, chocolate) and Mexico, and seasonal stuff right on time. Cart only a quarter that you get back (put in handle) & nice staff. Bring reusable bags, use their boxes or buy bags at checkout. Debit, credit, ebt and...

Plain, direct groceries and basic housewares. No agonizing over 47 different varieties of canned corn, or 55 different types of white bread. A wide variety of foods, but true variety rather than meer duplication. Precut lettuce salad less than 1/2 the price elsewhere in town....
