It has been 26 days since I first signed up and I surprise myself every time I show up. Just to give you an overall background on my fitness level, I have not been in a gym nor have I been in a fitness club for over 3 years since I moved to Queens. Health wise, not in the best shape at all, got some meds on and am overweight. I got tired of being tired all the time from the weight and disappointment. So, I cleaned up my diet and I mustered the courage to join, with a few good friends that encouraged me.
The coaches are amazing! Shout out to coach Jason and Michael! They work with you. Its ok if you can not do all the workouts or you can only do a bit at a time. Be good and be kind to yourself! We all have to start somewhere. At least for me, I want to achieve small goals each time I am there!
As for the people there, do not be intimidated. They are kind and friendly. They are happy you are there.

Having Leo as a coach is like hitting the lotto numbers, I just feel incredibly lucky having him as a coach. He is mindful of my form and posture, breaking down movements of each exercise to ensure safe and correct performance. And not just for me, but for everyone in the room. When he critiques, it's to your benefit to be a better, stronger you. When he compliments your form/technique/push, it's like getting a call from the Oval Office on a job well done.
