CTown Supermarkets — Local services in New York

Updated Review: Since its renovation a few years ago, this grocery store has improved 100%. The new manager and staff are very friendly. They work hard to ensure that the store is clean and that the produce is fresh.

The butcher staff constantly changes the meat in the case to make sure that is fresh. They have some good deals every week. You just have to be sure to keep up with the circular.

I also like that have foods from a variety of places/cultures in stock. They have a lot of products from the Caribbean/Latino countries. They are also getting more East and South Asian products. I have to say, the managers are doing a good job keeping up with the changing demographics of the community.

The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the prices but that is something we are all dealing with since...

I went to buy grocery for my mom and the deli dept only put on one glove to cut my meats; had to ask him to put two on, no problem there. However, the cashier just finished counting money and she refused to change her gloves. I also told her the groceries were for my elderly mom., still refused Then, before could pack my groceries she had started ringing the next customers groceries and pushing them towards mine. Nasty cashier, I'll never shop there again and it's on my corner. I'll travel three miles before I go back there. The prices are ridiculous too. Wish could rake...

Great selection , prices are great but... Customer service sucks!!

Update..... this store has been under construction for months now... and yet they still don't have anything smh. Customer service had gotten better I guess they read some of these reviews. But they are in a area with older and disabled people who can't get to to her store's so please hurry up and finish the renovations. So they can get what they need... One more thing... where are the juices????
