CTown Supermarkets — Local services in New York

This store always have switch and bait. Mgr. never honors the prices shown online. Manager always have attitude problems. Non sale items are higher than other supermarkets in the area.

Update Tues Dec 17, 2024 This store change the name to Bravo on E.80 St. Now CTown moved one block taken over Rite Aid that closed down. Everyone in neighborhood was sad because we thought that CVS was buying the property. Now the community has to travel to get their prescriptions filled. No comments right now if CTown has improved. I only go for there for last minute on sale items. The jury is out. Store has more parking. Wheelchair friendly.

Update: Mar. 8 2025 No improvement. Higher prices. Never have what's advertised on their flyer. So now you can't complete all your shopping. Cashiers are friendly. Not enough helpers on floor to ask questions. The ones they have can't communicate with you in...

BEWARE!!! Wish I could give this place zero! The prices are way to high. The food is expired and your followed like a criminal. One of the mexican guys was watching me while I’m deciding what I buying and I guess proceeds to alert SUZY who is a big hefty looking woman who began looking for me through the aisle. These places are horrible and I will NEVER shop here again. I just moved to this neighborhood and I’ll find another supermarket near my job. Suzy needs to train better before she gets a lawsuit or somebody gets hurt over spoiled food. Why didn’t she notice I was just shopping? Was I taking to long? Everything is expensive to begin with but they will attempt to rob you even more at the register by having items ring up higher than the price on the tag. In the aisle, a box of seasoning packets were $1.59. When I saw my receipt, I was charged $3.59 instead. Btw who the hell in their right mind prices Hostess cupcakes at $8.39???
