Curry Shrimp Should NOT Melt In Your Mouth!
I ordered some curry shrimp with channa and potatoes, pumpkin and buss up shot roti. Also got soursop/passionfruit juice. Based on the total price (over $70 for 3 dishes and 3 drinks), I was expecting a dish that tasted decent, was properly spiced, and would be nice and filling to start my day.
What I got instead was SEVERELY overcooked shrimp (curry shrimp should NOT melt in your mouth! Ever!!!), channa that was the consistency of mush, potato chunks that only a dog or cat might eat, and pumpkin that tasted like nothing (I only realized I was eating pumpkin after a closer look at my plate-- more on that later).
Presentation initially seemed as expected for a take out restaurant, but as I looked at the dish some more, you realize that you might as well be eating curry shrimp "soup", which is NOT a soup I'd ever like to try.
Restaurant was not a welcoming place to walk into, although I never felt unwelcome there and I was in and out within 1 minute or so. food looked nice in the restaurant, presented buffet style to be served by the employees working there.
I only give 1 star for the buss up shot, it was moist and not very oily (not as oily as other Caribbean restaurants serve to patrons), which was refreshing. Not a place I would recommend. Overpriced...

The restaurant closes at 8 pm, and this new Jamaican man they hired will tell me they have no food lol ( I ordered on Uber eats, a stew chicken meal and curry chicken buss up) he tells me thereās nothing left and he canāt substitute for another dish? So I took it upon myself to go drive over there a long behold, thereās plenty of food! So the same man is there speaking rudely to many customers so I waited for my turn and said I thought you explained to me over the phone that the restaurant is about to close and thereās no more food?! He then lies and says he never said that ā¦. Lol so I showed him my Uber app and said Iām the customer you just spoke to.

One I would like to start off by saying my order went from 6 doubles to 2 after I saw how they were prepared, although my partner insisted we still order them. The young lady, with a Jamaican accent and pony tail, was very rude and when I tried to inform her of how to correctly prepare the doubles bc she made some sloppy sandwiches that pissed me off. I tried to show her after her asking me to show her since I know and she then proceeded to the back to get someone else to complete my order, I presume because of her INCOMPETANCE. I beg you, please get your Staff in order I don't always want to drive to Flatbush or Queens to get good doubles, train your staff have them watch videos on customer service and how to PREPARE A DOUBLES AND ROTI bc it's disgusting and you Will continue LOSING business of the staff...
