I walked into the store as it was my first time. I work up the street & I never get a chance to shop there. I was asked if I needed help, I said no, just looking. Right before I got to the back of the store (Moose Knuckles display), I notice two employees standing within close proximity to me. I walk around the store, looking a sizes & prices. They were looking at me, with attitudes. I finally ask one of the employees about a Karl Lagerfied Sweatshirt. I asked also about order options. There were UGGS on sale in the front and inquiring for my size was almost impossible, as if they didn't want to service me. I asked for footsie to try on the shoe, and the gentleman only gave me one. The best part was when I went to check out, my apple pay declined 2x, so I tried another card, when I went to slide the box over to get closer to the P.O.S, he jumped to put his hand on the box like I was trying to steal. Terrible. It was a good sale but terrible service. There are some purchases I want to make, but I won't be going back there. WOW. It was obvious it was a problem I was in there. Can't help but feel and notice it when reactions...
Read moreI’ve shopped here previously before but I’ve never felt as uncomfortable as I did when I went back to shop once more. Seems like there’s a different set of employees who work there now with the exception of one of the managers. When my sister and I walked in, I greeted the cashier and he blatantly stared at me and proceeded to continue working on what he was doing, before we stepped in. My sister and I then went on to ask another employee where a certain brand of coats were, and we were pointed to that direction but didn’t receive any help for a while. Out of nowhere, the employee just popped up and positioned herself in the corner by the coats in which we were looking at. She then stated “I’m sorry, during Black Friday there was a set of girls who stole coats...” she also stated that they were African American, it just was an uncomfortable experience and we felt as if we were treated differently based on...
Read moreMy parents and I have always shopped here. We purchased a down jacket on August 10, 2024. My mom wore it for the first time today, and we returned to the store to shop again. As we passed through the security gate, it buzzed. Suddenly, at least three employees approached and stopped my mom.
Fortunately, we still had the receipt in the original bag. It took me 15 minutes to drive back home and bring it back to prove our purchase. Only then did they realize that the security sensor on the down jacket hadn’t been removed and was still attached at the neck.
After checking, the employees let us leave, but my mom is still shaken. Even though there was no physical harm, she feels frustrated and upset. They didn’t conduct a proper check, like reviewing camera footage, before assuming we were at fault.
I know there are things similar heppen in the overall, but we still want to get respect...
