*If my post is removed again, I'll repost it as many times as needed. We all have right to share the truth with the world. * Waste of time and money. They don't even deserve one star. First of all, therapists are not licensed to perform any type of massage. Second, do not expect after-care service from them if anything happens during a session - i.e., injury due to their rough and careless massage technique. One of my friends suffered so much pain/bruises due to improper massage technique used by the owner, Ms. Moriwaki. Ms. Moriwaki refused to do anything about my friend's injury after all. My friend eventually decided to let her go simply because she did not want to spend any more of her precious time and money to file a lawsuit. Avoid being the victim of abuse. ("MeToo")

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been going to EaseNY for almost 2 decades. Shico (owner) and her staff are knowledgeable/respectful professionals who truly care about their clients' well being.
Before EaseNY, I went to chains such as Masage Envy/Bliss or Spas like Oasis/Ohm. Though they were relaxing and offered the quintessential "spa" environment, I didn't find the benefits long lasting. With EaseNY, my chronic headaches have gone away and I feel more balanced.
They are professional masseuse. Unlike mainstream massage routines (consisting mainly of your front/back) EaseNY does scalp/front/back/sides, which maybe different for newcomers but I've found to be more holistic.
The sessions are offered with differing levels of therapist (ie junior/senior/master). Despite the tiers, my experiences has always been positive. In my past with other boutiques, I've experienced inconsistent pressure and uncertain masseuse. At EaseNY, I've had junior level therapists who were confident with pressure points... to Shico who's truly a Master of the art and a perfectionist.
Their facials aren't geared for blackhead removals etc. it's truly to massage the facial muscles, ie TMJ and those who hold tension in their head. I also went to EaseNY for my pre and post natal massages. All of their services are outstanding and my body/mind so grateful.
EaseNY is a small, woman owned, minority, local business. They're priced above their competition but you can't really compare as they're unique, therapeutic,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBefore they even rendered a service, this establishment had the nerve to ask me how would I be tipping. When I stated credit card, they refused to service me! Like what? Who does that? Completely ridiculous. How do you turn down a client, who is willing and able to pay for a service because they can't tip in cash?? I even said they could upcharge me and they STILL refused stating their workers live off of tips--and so does else who works for tips! No excuse to refuse a service! Smh Is some money not better than none at all? Wasn't like I was taking the slot of a person who could pay cash, I was the only one there! They couldn't even make a one time exception for a first time client smh. I don't know if they were being prejudice or what but that was very sketchy...
