Was a longtime customer there since middle school until an honest mistake occurred by my mother inadvertently paying an extra $100 by thinking she would do me a favor and pick up my contacts with a receipt that was already stamped and paid in full; she was not aware I had already paid. So when I arrived there to politely clear up the situation the woman who clearly remembered me quickly broke eye contact, started waddling away to hide in the back. It was almost comical except for the fact we were shorted money!! The optometrist then promptly came out with his accusatory tone as everyone stood speechless and in denial, implying my 78yr old mother and myself were scamming them.

Of course the younger woman who made me come in the previous week to pay in full for contacts that weren't even ready wasn't present and I didn't return or pursue it further because I regretfully figured in the end it would have most likely cost me time and money and I was just recovering from a difficult situation. My mother got irate and implied someone pocketed the money which was only answered by more angry unprofessional responses. Heck I understand the error was prompted from our end- but one would think a professional outfit would have handled it much better, seen automatically that it was paid in full. At least humor me and make a note that you will look into receipts and give a call back! I saw another reviewer describe how they'd write prescriptions on a sticky pad which sounds about their level! I believe the only reason we started going there in the first place was because they accepted the union plan where you had a limited selection of ugly frames. Now I know better places, with prompt service, including great looking, cheaper yet good quality glasses on line. There is no need to pay these ridiculous inflated mafia rate prices for simple frames many of these stores push on you.

In good form I'm willing to remove my review if you can convince me there are perhaps new owners and/or staff since this happened several years ago and how you would have have handled this honest mistake...

STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

It's not a place I would come back to get glasses. They display one price for a set of glasses, but I had to pay an extra 150 since my daughter had already been without glasses for over two weeks, which is the only reason I continued getting them. I would go somewhere that honors the prices they have on display. When it came time for them to let me know that the glasses were ready, the manager's daughter called to tell me twice. The second time she called, I told her she had just called me. Instead of saying I was sorry for calling again, she hung up. Honestly, the customer service was horrible from start to finish, and I would never recommend this place.

UPDATE/CLARIFICATION SINCE THE OWNER WANTS TO COME HERE AND LIE

SINCE YOU WANT TO COME ON HERE AND LIE IM GOING TO MAKE SURE I TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF WHEN I EMAILED YOU AND THE RECIPECT WITH THE DAY I CAME And purchased. NO, I DID NOT TAKE TWO WEEKS. I HAVE THE PROOF. I SENT THE PRESCRIPTION THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE, SO I HAD TO WAIT. SECOND, I EMAILED IT TO YOU. AFTER ALREADY WAITING TWO WEEKS FOR THE GLASSES TO PROCESSED, I HAD NO CHOICE. MY CHILD NEEDED THE GLASSES. LASTLY NO WHERE ON THE SIGN DOES IT SAY IT THE PROMOTION IS FOR READING GLASSES THE ACTUALLY SAY THEY CAN BE USED FOR BIFOCALS LAST TIME I CHECKED ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. SO, FOR YOU TO TURN AROUND AND TRY TO PUT ANYTHING ON ME AFTER THIS WHOLE SITUATION WAS POORLY HANDLED BY THE COMPANY IS EVEN MORE REASON I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE BUT MY EXPERIENCE. AND TO NEVER USE THIS PLACE!

If your apology is sincere there would be no need to lie to save face everything was wrong from beginning to end.

ONCE AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE NOW AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ALSO LIKE LIE. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY ESTABLISHMENT. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO SOMEWHERE THAT IS HONEST AND VALUES...

This place is EXCELlent. I mean it in every way. The staff, doctors, owners , even the long time customers there are great. I went in originally for a contact exam and I walked out with so much knowledge and understanding of what I was getting for my money. If you are in need of new glasses or lenses definitely check them out they are A1. I must have tried on 300 frames that day the ladies were all so great Ana and Jackie were so patient and understanding and helped me find the perfect frame for my face shape and size. I might have been a bit annoying, but they dealt with me with grace. Even a long time customer of theirs who happened to be in the store pitched in to help me, its such a great environment even though it was my first time there I already feel like we are family. The owners are just the sweetest and very helpful, they were willing to work with me on price and I really appreciated it. I got my glasses in today and have been wearing my contacts for a while now, I'm so thankful for the doctor there because all other places I went to I've had issues getting my script correct. This overall was a great experience, I usually hate having to get an updated prescription. However coming here has shown me the environment and the people make the difference. Not to mention the wide variety of optical frames - they also have sun glasses, which (for the first time) I was informed that they too can be made into my prescription if I so wished. An added bonus is that there is FREE PARKING!!! I'M SO THANKFUL TO THEM AND I'LL BE BACK FOR THEIR EXCELLENT...
