Gus Pools, Inc. — Local services in New York

Contacted Gus pools (along with a few other local installers) last spring to go over and design a pool for a limited space in my backyard. Pete (owner) came to my house and spent several hours looking over my backyard and discussing any concerns or questions I had. I never felt rushed or pressured during the entire time. We came to a great layout for the space and agreed to move forward with an expected break ground date of February 22. He contacted me in October of 21 and said he had an early opening and if it suits me he can get the pool installed before the winter. I agreed, 2 weeks later my pool was installed up and running! Pat (Pete's brother and owner) just came back a few weeks ago to open the pool, run the pool and spent another several hours with me to go over the entire system with me from salt generator, phone app, to pump valves etc. He insisted I video tape it so there was no confusion and assured me if I had any questions and I can always email him and he would respond right away. A few days ago I had a concern about my water levels and spa pump so I emailed him and within a few hrs he called me back to walk thru everything with me (turned out nothing was wrong).

I cannot stress this enough...the customer service provided by Pete and Pat at Gus pools is something you rarely see anymore with companies. From the first day of my appointment to go over the layout, up until a few days ago, the customer service has been incredible!

Pete & Gus Pools are a throw back to a time where people took pride in delivering high quality work. From the first meeting I was impressed with his candor, honesty, knowledge & ideas for creating the "right" backyard oasis for my home.

Rather then trying to upsell anything, he actually talked me out of spending $ on features we really wouldn't use. Install/repair of a in ground pool is a big investment & job, & I can attest that Pete & crew deliver high quality work at a fair price. He also refers an excellent mason & electrician in the Westchester area, so you do not have to deal with managing different facets of the project.

Pete went above and beyond a pool install at my home as he teamed up with his mason Eddie to help remediate major flooding, water issues I have been dealing with. They planned proper drainage, pitching & despite some major storms that would have had my pumps working overtime & at times failing, the basement has been bone dry ever since they finished their work.
