The worst place that you could go for help the staff is unprofessional and lazy they don't follow up on the clients cases Yo a supervisor marlene lawrence put the wrong address on the w9 form and the checks were misplaced for a client she never followed up the client never got to move into their apartment. when contacted [ homebase ] she did not even care they blamed the error on H.R.A and the u.s. mail. Now the apartment management wants the client to give up the apartment they contact the homebase supervisor Marlene Lawrence and tell her to have her client come and falsely sign a form or they cannot move in. the form was false is to release the apartment and marlene lawrence did it. now that client is without an apartment The worst part is the excutive director for that branch Melissa Lopez is aware and allowed that to happen. when legal aid heard this they were like a homebase worker must never send their clients to sign anything before having a copy of that paperwork first. Terrible I went to get help for my rent arrears they give me appointment and I knew what to bring they started to looking my documents and keep asking how many people we are living in I told them 4 she was keeping asking me again and again and then she told me my score is 4 which is I am not qualified for their program I have to have Eviction notice or court letter to have 7 points and then they was going to help me and she was holding us in there documents all over the table She gave us address where to apply for one shot deal One shot deal told me I need to have some income otherwise they can’t help me so I don’t know where to get help I’m disable and can’t work I have wife and 2 kids now I don’t know the future hopefully I’m not going to end up in...

This place is horrible , they make you go waist your time explaining your situation to them and filing papers , they send you to two work shops and tell you that after that they are going to help you which is a total lie . The social workers tell you to always call them to keep them updated of your case and their never to be found . If you have any rent problems or whatever DONT GO HERE go straight to welfare cause in this place they get paid to do nothing expect waist your time . And the amount of hours you have to wait every time you go here is ridiculous, 3 to 4 hrs wait to see one social worker ... In other words this...
