Tigres Pizza — Restaurant in New York

This is legit the go to place when idk what to order or when i want to ensure my meal is good. When I was pregnant 4 years ago this place fed me almost the whole trimester, lol. The owner and employees really are the best and work so hard to ensure good food, proper respectable service, fast production of order and quick delivery. The crew is truly a tight team. The food isn't meant for healthy or uptight but its made properly and fits the epitome of comfort food. Great portion for the price. Ive not tried everything on the menu but pretty well rounded in all areas of choices. Breakfast is great. Can be pricey but i order extra on my platter. Eggs were iffy. You have to describe well cooked or not since many are picky about their style. Waffles are good. Pancakes good. Heros are good. Not the best but chicken parm is a go to. Fried options are always right. Chicken, wings, nuggets. Cant go wrong. Burgers are great. Awesome price and size for the deluxe. I swear by their chicken salads which are huge and worth the price. Don't even need dressing its so flavorful and doesn't destroy your self esteem if your being conscious of calories. Its a healthier light alternative, but super satisfying and filling. Wraps are golden. Sometimes a bit greasy but bearable. They're filled well and have lots of variety. Pizza is good. Burritos are good. Shakes and smoothies are always a delight. ORDER THEIR NACHOS! CHICKEN NACHOS are always great for them evening cravings. Much respect to this lil food spot in the Bronx. 5 stars for these guys. NEVER USE YOUR CARD HERE!!!!! I was there last night i ordered phillycheese steak and payed with my card, apparently after I left they charged my card AGAIN for 339.88!!!! When I went back today to speak with them the same guy that handled my card was there and nonchalantly told me oh yeah but i voided it ummmmmmmm ok lets ignore the fact that i dont understand this alleged mistake and lets focus on the fact that you just overdrafted my bank account rendering completely penniless for the rest of the day that i had plans for. ok so then i call my bank go back and forth with them the whole time this guy is unaffected not nervous not apologetic didn't even offer me a soda unbelievable, I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW ON ANYTHING BUT THE WAY THAT TIGRE PIZZA IS HANDLING (BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH ITS 545PM ITS STILL NOT FIXED!!) THIS SITUATION IS INFURIATING! now i give the guy instructions bc he now needs to fax my bank and stop the charge however he couldn't do it at that moment and I had to leave (i needed to use the bathroom and no they didn't let me use the bathroom there) he swore he would do it in half hour I have been on my phone since 4pm no fax ( I LEFT PIZZA PLACE AT 2) I had to call 6 times just now and tell him to refax it! Ok so the service here sucks! They just left us hanging for quite a bit, even people around us were also complaining. I know it probably gets hectic and crazy but the waitresses/waiters should really pay attention to the customers.

Anyways, I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, my boyfriend ordered the seafood crispy noodles, we then ordered the crab meat and pork soup dumplings or steamed whichever you prefer to call it. Neither of us liked our noodles we ordered because there was no flavor whatsoever but we did enjoy the soup dumplings. The only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars. I'm from Philadelphia and I'm so use to having my soup dumplings with hot oil also, so I was bummed out that they didn't have it. Still good alone with vinegar, I like to drown mine.
