Gertrudis knows what she is doing and is a very welcoming, nice & professional person. This is the type of person you want touching your hair. I Told her to cut my hair in layers but to not cut off too much because I like my hair long and she did exactly that. I suggest you make an appointment with her because everyone wants to do their hair with her. The other Dominican women that work there are good too, one of them did it for my friend & she was so happy with her experience. The hair salon is clean and they check that you are clean too, as soon as you enter they spray your hands and shoes with alcohol. . .The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the hair salon is great but the nail salon in the back is horrible. The ladies aren’t clean. The seats where you sit to get your nails hand and feet done are dirty, old & kind of broken on the sides. I just decided to get my nails done because I was going to do my hair anyway so I went for it. Bad choice. The nail salon is totally apart from the hair salon, I just want to make that clear they are in the same place but with different owners. The lady doing my nails was literally eating an apple while passing the nail polish remover on my nails and texting here and there. Then I wet my feet & she passed the callus remover ALL OVER THE TOP OF MY FEET & SCRAPED MY SKIN. Who does that? Not even a child. Right after that she passed this cream that comes with small sand like material all over my feet, which scraped them even more.. She had to pass the nail polish about 5 times to cover her mistakes because she kept touching it and messing it up. So now the nail polish looks all thick on my nails. On top of that it’s $25 dollars for a pedicure ONLY.. I warned my friend about this and she went anyway because she was going to get her hair done in the front part of the place & went through the same exact thing. Now her feet are all red with scratches & a couple of bruises. This is just sad. Please go to a professional nail salon where people actually love their job & know what they are doing & have an actual license, to avoid this horrible experience....

Where do I start I saw the reviews so I went to that place thinking I'm going to love this place DO NOT let the salvadorian lady with blond hair do it I showed her the picture of the hair cut and she just glanced at it and said ok she was chopping my hair so aggressive she is like I'm going to give u layer which the hair cut I showed her did not have it was totally different from the picture she never said a word just complete silence and awkwardness she blow dry my hair and I look like Linda from Bob's burger so this lady didn't show me the back of my hair I paid 38 plus tip went home and straight my hair and took a pic of the back it was short long strands I called the place and offered to fix it when I get ther they just cut it again and "fixed " and I told the guy this is not what I wanted but he was in a rush to close the store and the salvadorian lady saw me and shrugged and didn't even apologize I will never go ther again because of that lady that's the hair style. I went in for and got that...

Aggressive hair wash with cold water. My stylist Victoria then proceded to cut my hair off much shorter then directed and even. She shaved the back of my neck. I feel ugly and I will never come back here. I now have to invest on extentions thanks to this hack job. Stylist should be required to inform the client if they are incapable of cutting hair as shown in a picture. Also she dropped her comb twice and just picked it up off the floor and kept cutting. Clients as well as the stylist are eating...
