I wanted to give ZERO STARS.

I contacted the owner via call from google inquiring about the price. At first she stated they are closed; she then called back and asked what I wanted done. I tolde Boho knotless Bon She (JJ) told me that it would 180 and she would verify with the braiders in the shop and call me back. She called back saying that I could go, I verified if she took cash only or card, she stayed they tool zelle as well. I went and got my hair done , once it was done I said what is the zelle , the braiders looked confused. I told them the lady on the phone told me you guys accepted zelle as well, however they did not know that or know the zelle. They called her via another person(around her)Trying to get the zelle. I then said 180 right they started saying it was 230 For KNOTLESS BOHO BOB. I then said I was told 180 so how is it 230 they started saying its 50 extra for the curls and i didnt bring my own. I explained that the lady on the phone said it was 180 and didnt say anything about $50 extra. They then called the owner and she started speaking very hostile towards me, I explained that she didn’t tell me about the extra or else i wouldve brought my own curls… they kept trying to coerce me to pay $230 when I was told it was 180. The owner JJ THEN STARTED THREATEN ME SAYING SHE WOULD GET THE VOODOO MAN ON ME IF I DONT PAY THE 230. I then explained im not paying 230 because I was told 180. She then threatened to call the police i said okay. I SAW TWO POLICE OFFICERS WALKING BY AND WENT TO OPEN THE DOOR TO GET THEM BUT THE WORKERS LOCKED ME IN. I ASKED COUNTLESS TIMES TO BE LET OUT BECAUSE I PAID THE 180 ( which JJ TOLD ME WAS THE PRICE) AND THEY WOULD NOT LET ME OUT. AMD JJ WAS YELLING ON THE PHONE SAYING THEY ARE GOING TO CUT THE CURLS OUT AND SHE WILL COME AND CUT THEM OUT HERSELF. I said okay come and proceeded to call 911. Whilst on the phone with 911 they decided to let me out after 20-30mins……. The officers later came and the owner was still on the phone being hostile EVEN WITB THE OFFICERS. They explained to her how they were wrong. KEEP A PAPER TRAIL EVERY WHERE YALL GO. THESE SALONS WILL LIE AND TRY TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR...

I recently had an appointment at JJ’s Hair Braiding, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! I needed an early 6 a.m. appointment, and Joy was not only on time but ready to go, which I really appreciated. Punctuality is important to me, and Joy delivered.

She did my braids with such precision—neat, beautiful, and exactly how I wanted them. Her attention to detail was impressive, and she made sure that every braid was perfect. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of work and the overall experience.

What really stood out to me was Joy's exceptional customer service. She was welcoming, professional, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I strive to only go to places where customer service is a top priority, and JJ’s Hair Braiding exceeded my expectations in that regard.

The lady i had did an amazing job on my hair. It was a great work environment with laughs and enjoyment. I got there at 7:30am and finished by 12:45pm my hair is under the butt length anf thick too.They blowed out my hair too, So it was very fast and efficient I got fulani mixed w/boho braids with hair added , with the synthetic blend for the hair outside boho.I showed a picture of what I wanted and she matched it to a tea with some of my alterations.i will include the image below.. I recommend going here you won't regret it.I spent a total of $215 ....185 for the butt length hairstyle & +30 for synthetic blend hair...
