What an experience, I can’t believe this. First of all, let me be clear. I falling inlove with this place because it is a small business owned by a husband and wife just like my self and my husband. They are muslim just like me although i am African. and to add, The husband is really good at helping you to understand what you are ordering, and expalining it clearfully to apoint that you want to try it all. He is not judgemental or racist. Strickly business and great customer service.
The reason why i had to write this negative review is because, in Ramadan, I spend alot of money with these people. I like to order food for the mosque. Yesterday, I stop by with a friend who came to visit me. We went to the resturant to purchase food. This time it was the wife who came up to take our order... A very rude, nasty, dispeakable muslim women who should be ashame of herself. She was rude to all 3 black customers that waked it to the store. But, when a spanish lady walked in, her atttitude change immediately. This spanish lady only brought Samosa for $2.95. ( No effensive, I love Spanish peopl). The issue is She was short with us and very upset because my friend used the restroom as we wait for our food to be ready. If we are spending over $40+ in your store a quick 1 min to use the bathroom should never be a problem. Even if you had a bad experience with one black person at some point, that does not mean all black people are the same. It is just like how ISIS harmed people. You will not like it if we all walk around and dislike you for being arab/indaian assciated. Therefore, get that racist disspeakable manner out when your running a business.
What shock me is, 3 months ago, I sent my husband to grab me some food on his way home. He started to tell me that next time, he would prefer if we just drive to cross county area to buy indian Food. I dismiss his concern just because i was emotional willing to support a muslim in business that i did not realized this lady is absolutely RUDE and racist.
Look, her husband is really a nice guy and very welcoming. She on the other hand, Have made me realized there is a million place to spend your money and her business is no longer apart of my Ramadan expense ever again. Wheteher Your BLACK, WHITE, SPANISH, CINESES, INDIAN...etc.. the $ bill is still a Dollar. All we want is alittle welcoming experience. Not the...
Read moreOh man. Where to begin. Sundays are the only days my SO and I have together to enjoy. We love Indian food and decided to try this new place out. Ordered at 125 and received it at 235, which is reasonable since max delivery time was 70 mins.
The delivery guy was personable and apologised for the delivery time, which really wasn't an issue. We sat down to watch a show while we ate and realized that we were missing 2 of the 3 garlic naans that we paid for, plus the raita that we paid $3 for was the tiny. Mistakes happen, so we call to let them know, and they apologized and said they were sending it right over.
They're only 15 mins away from us, so after waiting 35 I give them a call to follow up. They apologized again (all the while trying to speak over me/ trying to get me off the phone) and said it would be another 10-15. I was getting irritated but still hungry so I waited. 17 mins passed ( I was keeping track, I know you guys would too) and decided to follow up. Once again the man (turned out his name Mohammed who is also the delivery driver) picked up and said we'll be there in 10-15. I exclaimed that I already waited the initial 10-15 plus the first 30 before that. He said, and I quote," we still need to make the naan. It takes time". I've never been to an Indian restaurant where naan takes over an hour to make. Never.
After an hour and five minutes passed, we finally get the phone call that he's downstairs. At this point the food is cold, my frustration took away my hunger and I just want to forget this experience. The delivery driver states that he's who I spoke to over the phone and I'm surprised because he was nice and friendly in person, but rude over the phone. I decided to just get back the money for the food i didn't receive plus the tip.
I will not recommend or order from this establishment in the future.
The sauce they use for their vindaloo is delicious although the chicken was tough/overcooked. The portions you get does not justify the price. They can be a contender if they get their...
Read moreI was tired, plus i was hungry. I wanted a nice little place with something i desire, but don't always get. While walking down to my destination hoping I don't pass out before I get there, incase nothing pops up on the way. I found a little nice, kind of hideaway, kind of invisible.not fancy, just simple, and welcoming. As you walk through the door the aroma of well cooked curry meets your nostrils. The woman at the counter was really nice, her customer service was impeccable..the only thing I asked for wad juice, because I didn't order,it with my meal. I got my utensils,my plate, a very clean table and my food was on time . Texture, taste, service i give it all a five.. And the food was not pricy at all. I had enough food to eat and to take home, and i only ordered one meal. Comparing to the fast food joints that I'd spend more for and feeds me only one time .
I am pleased. You made my stay here worth something.. Thank...
