Didn’t know y’all like to keep moldy food in the fresh produce aisle. Funny thing is I’m the one who displayed them like this. Came back a couple of hours later for some lemons and they were still there. Nice

I’ve told them multiple times that they house expired gluten free goods- but every time I go, they haven’t removed them from the shelves. It’s horrible. This has been expired for almost a year!

Nasty workers. The ones you have to deal with — self-checkout associates and angry unpleasant deli/meat dept workers. Most clannish and nasty. Their interest —despite this being a business —is in socializing with one another while ignoring customers. You have to actually walk around these managers and workers who block the courtesy area and lottery machine where they often congregate and talk loudly while obnoxiously blocking the path of customers who are trying to get past them to shop. The self-checkout silver tables where you place scanned/checked out food is always filthy no matter which one you choose.Their so-called sale prices are not as good as other Key Food stores in the area and many of their products are often expired. Especially Dairy, canned goods and many frozen items. The fresh fruits and vegetables are over-ripe and rot within 24hrs after buying them. Bought way too many bags of rotten apples and moldy lemons fr this store. Their sale tickets are usually placed under the wrong items/products (likely on purpose )—that are not actually the item on sale. Which often leads customers checking out with a similar item that is not the actual sale item. Clever way to deceive customers. See this weird type of bait and switch sale ticketing down almost every aisle .If you are not careful you do not end up with the sale item. You wrongly pick up the simlar item under the sales tcket that is not the actual sale item. And cashiers do not let you know you are checking out with the wrong (but similar item )that is not actually on sale. That costs more. Cheating the customer. Overall their mentality seems clearly to be -ā€œUs vs The Customer ā€œ because their angry interactions with customers (I have often observed and have experienced) are laced with cold dismissive annoyance —without an ounce of friendliness. It’s a very unpleasant bore and a chore to drive to this store that is substandard and awful in almost every way. Surprised that this store is still open. Happily...

I ran into this Key Food to pick-up some items for my elderly mother. You were out of stock on a sale item and I asked the cashier if she could substitute the store brand for the sale price. The cashier had to ask the girl standing right next to her that was completely glued to her cellphone, not paying attention, yet supposedly training my cashier. The girl not paying attention asked me to repeat myself and then seemed annoyed at my request. She then proceeds to tell me "you have to go to the office and ask yourself". Not sure why I am being sent to the office because in my experience, most supermarkets call for management to come to the register. Still I proceed to walk across the store all the way to the office and the girl in the office said she couldn't approve an adjustment, so she kindly walked me across the store over to an older gentleman who was literally right next to the register I had just walked away from. He approved the adjustment, but at this point I'm thinking to myself would this rude cashier training the new employee also tell my elderly mother or other elderly clientele to run all around the store? Also, what type of example is she setting for your new employee? Very rude! The store was practically empty. If she had time to play on her phone, she definitely had time to properly call for management or walk herself to the office.

Purchase 2/22/23...

Hard to believe that this store is even worse than it was a year ago. Now there is only one check out booth with a person to check you out. All the others are "do it yourself" although there is someone there to help if needed. The worse thing is that there are often no empty carts in front of the store. You'd think they would buy some extra carts so one doesn't have to scrounge around the parking lot in order to do your shopping. This on top of high prices, rude personnel, (not everyone, of course) many items on shelves past the "sell by" price (one must check every item so as not to get stuck with something old) and generally high prices. We finally have some other options in the area, so I'd skip this...
