Well I haven't had coffee there yet but I did check out the Ambiance and let me tell you something, it's spot-on beautiful.
It has an awesome feel to it. I like the mismatched but beautiful furniture. I like the signs that are handmade and I love the warm environment. The bathroom is very old-fashioned and I love that is has dim lights and not too bright . The floor has beautiful paint splatters on it and it has like quarters and dimes and nickels on the floor. It's ingenious. It looks so gitchy and awesome.
This cafe reminds me of when I would go upstate to my grandmother's house in the Catskills on 23 A *(Grandma Jean on my mom's side,) She and my grandfather Florencio owned a house there and they also had those mismatched furniture pieces in The Parlor.
And all my family members would be hanging out drinking Cafe Con Leche and just chilling and chatting and reminiscing.
I remembered looking around at everyone and saying to myself, "That chair doesn't match with that couch and that couch is shorter than that other couch and the floor doesn't match the walls." But, I loved it.
Truly this Cafe brings back fond childhood memories for me because it reminds me of home.
There is an outside area and ok it's cold out now so of course you can't really hang out there. But, I can just Envision in the spring and summer this beautiful area bustling with people chillin and drinking coffee, having a pastry and chatting up a storm with friends and loved ones.
I can DEFINITELY see how successful Love Cafe is and will continue to be,. You know what I mean?
I think it's beautiful. It's relaxing and I like the TVs how they're situated. I see they have all kinds of snacks and pastries and drinks and coffee of course.
It is warm and inviting. The ambiance is not too bright and I just love it.
I can't wait to go there again and have a beautiful cup of coffee and chill and chat on the internet, while talking with my most important people's.
I suggest you go to Love Cafe in Astoria Queens on Steinway Street because it's an awesome place. It really is.
