Poor customer service but terrific looking lounge downstairs.
I walked into Moises Cigar Shop today and was not properly greeted by a salt and pepper bearded man who pointed the way to the humidor which was nice and robust with the cigars I enjoy like Ashton’s and Arturo Fuentes, Dominican cigars. I purchased a cigar and asked was the lounge downstairs and he said yes. I sat downstairs watching the Duke/Baylor game. I had to be sitting smoking, watching and working for several hours alone in my little section of the magnificent lounge when a lady working there asked me to move because I was sitting in a reserved area for 6 people. I go to cigar bars all around the world and very seldom do you see 6 people coming in at the same time. I asked her can I sit there until the game ended or until she had 6 people to take these seats. She said NO, please move. This was the ONLY time anyone said anything to me during the 3 hours I was there. NO RESERVE SIGN WAS POSTED! Customer service is very poor there for at least a Black American that spoke little Spanish in the Bronx. I felt disrespected and told her I would not only move but I will move out of the cigar lounge completely and never come back. She said okay thank you! For some reason Domincan men and black men have issues but I don’t understand why were the same or at least viewed the same by the majority. I won’t be back and they are probably...

Read moreSo I was definitely not expecting this especially just walking in didn’t see the downstairs coming.
The buzzing in I didn’t like but it’s in the Bronx so I kinda understand it. Definitely understaffed for the location but that’s cool also not a big deal
Gets really busy later in the day not gonna be like your regular cigar lounge people was mostly to themselves and within there groups but the spot and the area is really dope I wanted to know more about being a member unfortunately couldn’t get the info but I truly enjoyed myself
There’s a cork fee of $20 per bottle not the best price but not bad also and it’s cheaper for 6 packs of beer but don’t know the price
Also the stick selection was really good I enjoyed it a lot every price range you can think of there own sticks I smoked one was also good not bad especially at that price point
I’ll definitely be returning see if a different night feels like a different vibe
Hope you...
