This may be one of the worst libraries that I ever been at in recent times. Obviously was not expecting this to be like the main NYPL locations, however this was one of the smallest, dingiest libraries I've been at. The layout is basically one giant room, one side is the adult corner and the other side is the kids corner without any divider in the middle. Stopped in around 330 and the library was full of screaming toddlers and school aged kids, and the library staff did nothing to try to keep a decent working environment. I was wearing construction grade headphones and that wasn't even enough to block out the screaming kids.
