4.5 stars. We are frequent customers of Nana’s in Little Neck, and we were glad to have found out that they opened a new location in Jackson Heights. We are always looking for new places to take my niece and nephew, so we booked it to the new location to check it out.
What a space! It’s huge, clean and with many enclaves to discover. Unlike the Little Neck location, where the space is recommended for kids up to 6 years old, this one in Jackson Heights is geared towards slightly older kids. I would say that it would be good for kids 2 years old and up to 12 years old. I probably would think twice about bringing babies under 2 years old here. There’s not really any areas geared for them at this location.
We decided to pay for one hour of open play ($15) and that one hour flew by. There’s a huge ball pit area with three side by side slides. There’s a bouncy house in the back, a play kitchen, a play grocery store, a dress up area with costumes and a couple of swirly slides, just to name a few. There’s also a nice area with tables and a couch for families to grab snacks and rest. The front desk sells some items but unlike the Little Neck location, the menu here is limited. Right now, they only sell water, milk, juice, and a few snacks (Oreos, chips, etc.).
There is only one bathroom that I saw but it was quite large and had a changing area and foot stool for kids to reach the faucet when washing hands.
Prices are slightly cheaper in the Jackson Heights location and there seems to be more staff, which I really liked. They had a couple of people at the front desk and a couple more walking around cleaning. I did think that the space could have used some more childproofing which I also mentioned to the staff at the front desk. There are some corners that should have had padding or corner bumpers. I saw a few kids running and hitting the corners. Also, there were quite a few open outlets that should have had covers on them near the play areas.
I really like this section of Jackson Heights. There are so many food options to choose from after a long day of playing. The only drawback is that it’s really hard to find parking here. If possible, I would recommend using public transportation instead. Overall, we loved this new Nana’s location and will...
Read morePaid for a whole year member ship, the place WAS great than it was okay and now I want my money back, many videos they have of the play stations don’t exist anymore. 50% of the things here never work and they haven’t bothered to fix it…… like okay it’s been 6 months what are you guys waiting for ? It’s super dirty in some occasions, employees should clean the floors well since the time I went it was early and only Two toddlers running around, meaning they don’t clean the place every day if it was THAT DIRTY, no bouncy house duck no air tunnels that work when my son puts the balls and expect for it to work. I’m currently paying a similar indoor play in LIC which is amazing and it just suck that I have go and spend even more money somewhere else because this one is no longer functional as it was. I know it’s not entirely their fault, customers should also be respectful and not allow their children to take toys home since so many toys in the kitchen section are...
Read moreThe place is okay, but a lot of the play equipment is kinda run down. Also, my son’s socks were BLACK when we left. I know it’s typical for these places to be dirty because of all the traffic but this one was shockingly dirty. I will say that it was Nice that they had a little seating area. Not a lot of places like these playgrounds that I’ve been to have a seating area. Probably will only come back out of sheer convenience, but only because it’s...
