A Heartfelt Thank You to the Promenade Rehabilitation Team

My husband has been a resident at Promenade Rehabilitation for almost two years, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care, dedication, and compassion he has received throughout his stay. From the very beginning, the entire team worked tirelessly to support his recovery and rehabilitation journey.

Thanks to their professionalism, patience, and expertise, my husband is now returning home with remarkable progress and renewed strength. Every therapist, nurse, and staff member treated him with genuine kindness and respect, always encouraging him to do his best.

A special thank you to the Rehab team, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, for their outstanding work and commitment. Their constant encouragement, skill, and compassion have made a tremendous difference in his recovery. They truly went above and beyond to help him reach every milestone. Thank you to the nursing department especially the nurses and CNAs who took good care of my husband but also I myself learned from them; skills that I will continue to follow when we are home and care for my husband. The dietary department always goes beyond its means in ensuring my husband's dietary needs are met. The housekeeping department always makes sure that his room is clean and sanitized. Not to mention his clothes are always available thanks to the laundry department. The business office and the admission department have equally put work into my husband's stay while in the Promenade. Last but not least is the Recreation Department; with the parties, outdoor activities, BBQs, luncheons, special dining, and holiday events never cease to amaze me at how they made my husband and me feel at home. The dedication of the staff to make you feel at home away from home is amazing.

Promenade is truly a place that goes beyond care — they build confidence, provide hope, and create a warm environment for healing. I’m especially thankful to the administrator Sam Samet for his continuous support and attention to every need.

Having worked at Promenade for over 20 years, I have always known the dedication and professionalism of this team — but experiencing it firsthand as a family member has been truly heartwarming. The care and commitment shown to my husband reaffirm everything I’ve always admired about this wonderful place.

My father, Mark, had a knee replacement surgery a few years ago, after which he had undergone rehab and recovery process at the Promenade Rehab Center. We had a great experience with the facility then. Unfortunately, this year he was diagnosed with the throat cancer and had the trach tube installed to enable his breathing. There was a complication with his trach, and as the result, he was referred to Promenade for recovery and trach management during the completion of his radiation and chemotherapy treatment, as well as the resultant recovery. Once again, we sincerely appreciated all the care and attention my father received at Promenade during his recent stay there. In addition, the Promenade Rehab Center has a dedicated respiratory floor where the staff is especially trained, among other things, in respiratory care and trach management. The rooms on this floor are fully equipped with the necessary equipment to render excellent care for the patients. From an exceptionally smooth admission process to the continuous daily care he received, this rehab process has been instrumental for my father's recovery and discharge home. The rehab staff meticulously worked to arrange transportation to and from my father's medical treatments, administered the necessary medications and provided the necessary critical supplies for his trach management. In addition, the knowledgeable and skillful physical therapy team focused on getting my father back on his feet. Once again, our sincere gratitude to the staff of Promenade facility's respiratory floor and physical therapy team as well as all the Promenade personnel for their care and attention.

Review of Promenade Rehabilitation Center

I am writing this review to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care my mom received during her rehabilitation at Promenade Rehabilitation Center. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff was dedicated to providing a supportive and compassionate environment.

I would like to specifically acknowledge the amazing nurses on the 5th floor: Jason, April, Mindoza, and Elizabeth. Their professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail made a world of difference in my mom’s recovery. They were always available to address our concerns, providing not just medical care but also emotional support that made our family feel at ease during a challenging time.

The respiratory therapists were also instrumental in my mom's progress. Their expertise and encouragement helped her breathe easier and regain her strength. The Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) were attentive and caring, ensuring that my mom's needs were met with kindness and respect.

On the 6th floor, I cannot say enough about the physical therapists, Jovie and Kathy. Their dedication to my mom’s rehabilitation was evident in every session. They pushed her just enough to encourage progress while always being mindful of her comfort and well-being. Their expertise, combined with their genuine care, played a crucial role in her recovery.
