Incredible organization. I don't really have words to express how much good this place does, and frankly I was surprised due to the association with McDonald's.
Honestly, I could write an essay about this place and what it does for families of children with medical needs, but it's probably best to do your own research.
If you find yourself staying here, the staff will work very hard to try to make you feel comfortable in a time of probable turmoil.
Worth noting is that they do offer shuttle services in a relatively close area, so if you need that, ask ahead of time. There's always bagels. Always. And they Keys grocery store is going to be your best bet to get necessities nearby.
Of you feel like getting out and having dinner, either for peace of mind and a change of pace, or just to celebrate the end of a long medical ordeal? Hit up Luigi's down the street. They're good Italian food and pizza. Avoid the Chinese restaurant nearby.

Read moreI stood at this Ronald McDonald House awhile back (late 90's early 2000's) when my sister was in the hospital. Its was an amazing experience, looking back, I can't Express the amount of gratitude I have for the staff, the other families and the hospital arranging our family to be nearby mom and dad while my sister was receiving care and unable to leave. I didn't realize how special this place really was, I was only 7-9yrs old, but man, looking back, it's hard to describe in words the true beauty of this service. Thanks Ronald McDonald House, best wishes to the staff, families and doctors, it's truly special when you can offer sincere support during the hardest days/nights of a families lives, though we lost something special, we gained an appreciation for the moments you allowed us to be together as a family and support one...
Read moreThis place is truly amazing!! I've had to stay here twice, once for a surgery and another time when my Dr thought I might need a second surgery. I didn't, thank goodness! But I don't regret going all the way out there, if only because I got to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. I love all of the volunteers, the common areas allow us to meet new people going through similar things and gives us a sense of community, there's computer rooms where people can get work done, a gym, and a meditation room, the place is also amazingly decorated. It's the perfect place to be when you're in hard times. I'm forever grateful to the Ronald McDonald House of...
