Staten Island Kitchen Cabinets Manufacturing — Local services in New York

My wife and I are very happy with the service and quality of cabinet products we received from SI Kitchen. Rocco and Dorit were very attentive and made sure we were completed satisfied with the finished cabinet product. The Granite on the other hand... I have several negative things to say - and that is dealing with their granite subcontractor. My wife and I used SI kitchen for our granite as well - SI kitchen sent us to their granite yard and we bought 2 whole granite slabs to cover the cabinets, backsplash, island and a few other small things with the left over stone. The granite subcontractor SI kitchen uses never called me to measure my home. He just showed up at the construction site and measured whatever he thought was needed. I kept emailing Dorit and telling her that I needed to meet with the measurement guy because our kitchen island was intended to be a slightly abnormal cut. Dorit assured me that everything was fine.. Over a few days I kept emailing saying that I was concerned about the measurements and Dorit finally told me that she would get the layout diagram from the subcontractor and send it to me to show me that the measurements were good.. I get the measurements emailed to me and...... WRONG.. As I suspected - the measurements were wrong and they cut a huge portion incorrectly; luckily there was enough stone to fix the huge incorrect cut; but that left me with no leftover stone for other areas in the house that I wanted it. It was a struggle to get the stone measurement guy to meet with me to discuss measurements. I ended up having to measure myself for the backsplash and send the measurements to Dorit for fabrication. At the time, I was very upset that I'm spending all this money and have to measure things myself; and nearly a half a slab of good stone got wasted. The Granite portion of my dealing with SI kitchen was very stressful and did cost me a lot of money in having to find and buy new stone to match the other items. I would advise everyone that you are in great hands with SI Kitchen for your cabinets. But to proceed with extreme caution with the granite. Horrible experience. From custom design to delivery to the customer service support. -The design was made to include the drawers that pop out and were told that drawers would pop out. When delivered no mechanism installed. When inquired about it, they replied - was not included in the design. So no handles on the vanity... -Were promised that once the supplies received, they will start working on it. Month later, supplies are not even ordered... -Upon completion, asked for money up front before custom vanity is picked. That should've been a red flag, but we trusted them. -Upon installation we see that drawers are not lining up evenly. Contractor installing said that the tracks are pre-installed and he just followed the instructions provided by the company. We were trying to reach out to the company multiple times including sending them an email of the photos how it looks like. Finally, after month of back and forth they are saying the tracks need to be aligned to fix the problem, however they won't send a technician to do it, even though they installed the tracks and it's their product. I said fine, at least send me the instructions on how to adjust it, to which they replied, no we won't, Google it... Seriously? What kind of customer...

I just want to start off saying I am not related to anybody from SI Kitchens & Cabinets, nor was there any previous friendships with anybody who worked there. The people at this establishment are professional beyond words and accommodating to a fault..and that is putting it mildly. My wife and I dealt with Rocco and Susan primarily, however, if either of these folks were not available there was strong follow up with people like Louise or whomever else took our messages. If we had some very minor tweaks that needed to be done after our cabinets were installed, it was handled as if it WAS something major (which of course it wasn't). They were attentive and responsive and it was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The guys they use for installation are top notch. We have gotten so many compliments on the entire layout and the product itself...which we appreciated greatly....but it is really KUDO's to Rocco and Susan and the ENTIRE staff at Staten Island Kitchen & Cabinets.... We will definitely use their services any other time in the future and we strongly recommend whoever reads these words...to do the same. You will not go wrong !! Respectfully, Les and...
