I just got my taxes done elsewhere but remembered the poor service I had received here two years ago. Maybe the reason for the poor service was because in my case everything had to be done remotely (I was out of the country for a few months), I don't know, but either way I still remember how very frustrating it was.

She seemed quite knowledgeable and pleasant when I first walked in in person, but afterwards when I left the country, anytime I texted asking for an update, it was always "I'll get to it next week", and seemingly always one excuse or another, until two months later when taxes were almost due and I asked her if she was still going to do my taxes at all or if I should look for someone else. It honestly seemed like she didn't even want to do my taxes at all. So I ended up having to look online last minute to find somewhere else to get my taxes done, which was very stressful to say the least.

My new tax accountant gets my taxes done extremely quickly (and 100% remotely too), and is very responsive with any questions, concerns, and I never have to ask for an update. With Veronica it felt like asking your kid to clean their room, and I hate feeling like I'm pestering someone for their service. I'm honestly surprised everyone else has written positive reviews, so perhaps I just got unlucky, or maybe she's just not good at...

I have been doing my taxes with Veronica since 2018. My situation changed through the years, jobs, insurances, buying a property, etc and with her, I always feel confident that I’m doing the right thing. Some years, I will go to her office and just make an appointment that fit my schedule, once there, I can ask whatever I want, she always has an answer for me and my husband. On busiest times I don’t go there and I just use her office app to upload my documents, once the filing is done, I pay online through the same platform… Easy peasy.
