At 11am went to buy milk using my Wic, I was denied by register to buy two half gallon milk to equal a gallon the cashier himself was helpful the female next to him was beyond rude even told me I couldn’t buy my milk not the eggs that I did show on the booklet and app from wic ,it was far beyond embarrassing i went to the register next to this one since that female did not have any attempt the next register was helpful scanned all items which are approved I paid with my wic and was on my way with zero issues. It was clear I was discriminated or neglected to be helped. I followed and showed the female white the wic app showing the approved items and she denied to help. I then asked to speak to the manager which is printed on there receipt Bryan and was told he no long works there I left my concern with a manager by the name of Anett S. I don’t want anyone else to go trough this experience specially in this store which I’ve shopped for 11 years.

Today I wanted to have a good steak for breakfast so I went to Stop & Shop but what surprised me was that the meat stand had all the products with expired labels, then I said well I'll choose chicken breast and it was still expired. I asked a worker who was nearby he go away. I was disappointed and ended up leaving without buying anything. It was a disappointing experience and I hope they can improve their inventory management in the future. I made pictures

Items were rung out more expensive than were advertised. Had to go to customer service for a price adjustment. Customer service had a line of three people with no employee working it. I ended up just walking out with a free mountain dew instead. Hire more workers and fix your prices.

I have been going to Stop and Shop here since they opened way back when they were Edwards. Over the years there have been improvements made including cleaning the aisles regularly, the bottle machines being updated, fixing some of the layout etc. I even worked there as a teenager. But the now it is becoming a health risk just to enter and purchase food. For the last few months that I have been going back out to do my shopping for the family myself I have been seeing more and more violations regarding health and safety regulations. I have seen not just the few customers with their masks completely off or below their noses but the staff themselves and no one from management enforcing the law. At this time when the rise in Covid 19 cases are going up it infuriates me to go into my beloved supermarket and see workers with masks down under their noses or completely off. For the second week in a row I have encountered the same woman in the produce aisle who is a higher up wearing her mask below her nose. I called her out on it last week and asked her to pull it up and she apologized and pulled it up but this Saturday it was the same thing. I see the workers in customer service with masks below their noses as well. The cashiers always always wear it the correct way. But the thing that put me over the edge was walking past the bakery and seeing what looked like the head with no mask on AT ALL! She was cleaning the tables talking to the other workers about flies. The other workers were wearing masks and doing so the correct way. She was yelling for the 10 minutes I was around laughing and carrying on spit flying everywhere I’m sure with NO MASK ON! I spoke with a manager who said they would handle it but that is not good enough. With cameras all over the store it is unacceptable to say no one has noticed these blatant violations. I understand needing a breath of air I wear a mask myself all day at work with only an hour break. But the fact that this woman is in the bakery possibly infecting everything around her, FOOD around her, is absolutely unacceptable. You must do better!! This is a warning for every person who buys fresh food here. Look at the employees...

We started to like the store more. You can generally get a real person to check you out and the deli people are all great. Real service and usually no real wait for us. Prices still aren't there for most non sale items and produce hasn't changed. I gave it another star because the sale items are worth buying and the deli counter. We must of gone a few times when they didn't have staff for the real registers. Some of them are super nice and helpful but no one is rude ever. Still never would self checkout. Old review Not very big and the produce is like all the other NYC stores not the best and over priced. I've had nicer cashiers but they aren't the worst. I'd go here for a reason but never shop here on a regular. OK so shopping here is the same but you go during normal shopping time like 7pm there is ONE like one actual human everything else is self check out. They force you to want to try self check out because who wants to wait 15 minutes to have good service. Well the self check out is a mess with people leaving their orders on the register and you having to wait to get it cleared out. Just do yourself a favor and go to a store staffed by real cashiers who are nice and helpful up the street. No one pays you to do the job of the stop and shop cashier so why should you if it takes longer and makes you aggravated. Maybe offer a discount to self check out since you are staffing the store with 3/4 the amount of people instead of just keeping the extra and not having cheaper prices. Only go for sales...

Used the coin star machine. Then went to the helpdesk to redeem my ticket and get my money. Stood in front of the customer service lady for about five minutes Watching her flip through papers I’m assuming was a schedule, and I was calling her name about six times, and when I finally got her attention and asked for help all I got was “I need to go print out reports“. Then instead of apologizing telling me she needed to go print out reports she just walked away leaving me there. Came back about two minutes later with no reports in her hand and very rude asking for my ticket. Once the transaction was complete I didn’t get a receipt, A have a nice day, or any indication that our transaction was over. Then very rudely and loudly she screamed “I can help the next guest“. Then to top it all off, when I called the manager she was sticking up for her customer service lady saying yes she needed to print reports. I understand Some employees have specific job duties, but she could’ve been printing out the reports before helping me instead of flipping through papers, and instead of walking away from me rudely like she did she could’ve helped me first and then printed out her reports. Either way she could’ve handled the situation better and less rude, and her manager should not be sticking up for her behavior like that. If you want to be treated poorly and belittled as a person definitely go to the...
