This review is for hope, hope that the owner will take it into consideration for better business practice. So i called to ask if it is possible for them to make Efo Riro without any meat/fish because my husband is vegan, the person that was taking my order said “yes we can make it how you want.” I said great no problem, I would like two orders of efo riro without meat/fish, she said okay. I also ordered asaro without meat or fish. When I received my order, my husband noticed pieces of meat and fish in his efo riro and to top it off, the asaro was microwaved and extremely dry. So we called and told them that the efo had meat pieces. They said bring it back, at this point i sat in the car and waited for my husband to take it back, he was back within 5 min. I said oh that was quick, thinking they remade a new efo without meat, however that was false. My husband noticed tiny pieces of meat, at that point we knew they just tried to pick out the meat instead of remaking a new one. It’s the deception for me. Firstly, if you know you can’t substitute a certain dish, then please just say no instead of manipulating the dish, you never know if the person has a food allergy. Secondly, we are in a pandemic , it is unsanitary to take food back from a customer once it has left your restaurant and once it has been opened by the customer. Thirdly , just be honest and transparent with what you serve. Thank...
Read moreI normally don’t do reviews on food places but believe most of the reviews on here. I came in for cassava leaf , white rice & chicken knowing the price would be $20 but thinking the portions would be a decent amount. I got more rice than anything. It seemed like they put the chicken in a bowl & the cassava around it. I went back inside to ask for more because I’m a paying customer. The worker called the manager she wasn’t working but told him to put more. He gave me 2little white spoon fulls. Honestly it seems like they are stingy with the food but charge slot . However the cassava leaf is good the chicken was hard & dry tasted like it was from yesterday & the rice was good. I’ve been to many spots and never paid $20 for this meal and got more food. The cassava was good but not...
Read moreI have ordered multiple times from this restaurant with not so pleasant experiences, some times were worse than others. My last two orders from there were the worst; I ordered poundo with okra soup both times, and both the poundo and the soup had already gone stale. Why would anyone spend money on stale food? Or why would any business serve/sell to you stale food that had gone bad? I’m sure selling stale food to customers to consume is a violation of food safety rules and standards. I experienced this issue of stale food two consecutive times of ordering food from there. I blame myself for ordering there again after my first experience with the stale food. I will no longer be supporting this business, and I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy food from...
