It's okay if you don't want to ride the bus to ShopRite. You can get a few items here at a rather reasonable price but nothing spectacular. It's okay if your in walking distance and don't have a car. You can find some food to survive to get to the next day and they do have fresh vegetables. Most of their items are brands I've never heard of but I've enjoyed. Most times they are out of stock on most items and I have to go to family dollar behind them to get missing staples they don't have and that can be frustrating. Also found rat holes in my bread. Basically a cheap store to get food to survive for the night but nothing else. The staff is very friendly I must say but the store is always empty and only one cashier. Most times I visit there are no customers and a very bare staff. If I had more money and a car and it wasn't so close to where I live I more than likely would shop somewhere else. The staff is fine but I can tell the owners don't know what their doing and the store is depressing. Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to close but it does need an overhaul and some tender loving care! I shop here at least 3 times a week and most times I visit the shelves are empty. Ouch! I honestly think this location would be very good for Aldi's. They would make a killing! but unfortunately most businesses don't want to come here in this area. As a former seasoned retail manager I can tell that this company is in way over there heads. Look at the reviews, a long history of issues and not one district manager had the recipe for...

While online The Man started putting discarded unwanted items from other customer into his jacket. As I loaded the cart my wife was at the card base to pay here is this man standing directly behind her looking over her shoulder,I Approach my wife to clearly block this man and that set off a barrage of screaming. Now with my wife and child in the middle of this confrontation I approach the situation with a very delicate demeanor. This led to the cashiers telling us to leave and security approaching way beyond The initial issue .Telling us that we are not safe outside of the store because there is nothing that they can do . In turn We were forced out of the store after paying and leaving half of our groceries in the store I would advise you not to shop here. I felt I was threatened but the store and robbed after a barrage of Bigoted insult where said...
Read moreI’m visiting from TN. What a horrible city this is. The very disrespectful guy that has the magnificent job to puts away the carts, whistles at me and asked me to leave the bag at the door. I told him that he can whistle at his dog or anybody else but not at me. You must be very used to thieves in your city. This is not me. Not from where I am from. Maybe start choosing better leaders and building a healthier community. But it all starts at home. And the homes around here look pretty bad. Coincidentally, there are some specific ethnic races that are predominant here. But oh well, thank God I’m only here for a few days. additionally, I tried calling the store, but the phone is...
